Heard on the news today that they've needed a 24/7 armed guard on some Paris Jewish centre since the Charlie Hebdo attack. It doesn't seem safe for jews in Europe now. Sad. I had Jewish clients. Lovely people, British jews.

Do you mean the Jews haven't been blamed for this yet on the board? Can't read Vlad's drivel hence I just assumed it must have been blamed on Israel by now...UKJ wrote:Heard on the news today that they've needed a 24/7 armed guard on some Paris Jewish centre since the Charlie Hebdo attack. This reflects my position on the French (soon to be followed by the Brits despite Corbyn's best efforts) moronic 'do something' campaign:

I know Isis fighters. Western bombs falling on Raqqa will fill them with joy
In 2001 there were roughly a couple of hundred terrorists in the mountains of the Hindu Kush who posed a threat to the international community. Now, after the war on terror has claimed what some estimate to be as many as one million Iraqi lives, we are facing some 100,000 terrorists.

Britain can't financially afford to be dragged into another war on the coat-tails of America. In a week where Osborne is showing complete indecision on how to address the nations finances, how on earth can we be considering pissing billions down the drain on further death and destruction in a region that is a million miles from the future of our country. Create some jobs by beefing up border control, internal security and invest the money in youth training and opportunities to cut off the disaffected breeding ground for the cannon fodder the internal radicals attract. Identify the small band of internal radicals and buy them a one way flight to Syria.
Cameron tried it once and the British public weren't buying it, unfortunately the French situation gives him the opportunity to exploit emotions and drag us into another completely pointless military exercise. I'd never thought I'd agree with Jeremy Corbyn, but rather him than the military who get to play war at the expense of Britain's future.

Sure, it will recruit people to the islamists side, just as bombing Paris on a regular basis, killing cartoonists, attacking Jewish supermarkets, and beheading innocent people in western streets, turns thousands against innocent muslims. It's collateral damage that both sides are prepared to accept. I say bomb the utter fuck out of isis strongholds, and when they've finished, bomb it again. If there are any bombs left after that, bomb the fuckers. You can't fight fire with lentils or pseudo intellectual weakness.

Why, just let them keep on killing each other. If some of British Muslims feel strongly enough to leave our shores, fine great let them go and don't let them back in. Our allies in the Middle East that we've armed and supported should be capable of dealing with their own problems with their vast resources. I won't go into the hypocrisy of the human rights record of our friends in the region. We can stop the radicals on our shores if we want to, one thing Britain is good at is fighting internal terrorism maybe more so than France.UKJ wrote:Sure, it will recruit people to the islamists side, just as bombing Paris on a regular basis, killing cartoonists, attacking Jewish supermarkets, and beheading innocent people in western streets, turns thousands against innocent muslims. Take one location, Mosul, population of one point five million. You advocate sowing terror and mass murder of innocent civilians. Well done for giving IS exactly what it wants.

I want them to use the big planes, the small planes, everything they can.....It's an order, it's to be done. Anything that flies on everything that moves. You got that?"
