Are you saying there is a back story to the silly appearance of Littlefinger's army at the last minute? That didn't appear in episode 10 - in fact it was summarily brushed aside when Sansa apologised to Snow for not mentioning it, rather like apologising for leaving the lights on before they head out for dinner. It was a pretty substantial plot development.
Good last episode by the way, and great last scene. Now to sit back and watch all six series in a binge session . . .

I think the deal is she didn't mention it because he's such a fuck-up, always getting himself killed by doing the right thing and whatnot -- which is exactly what he was in the process of doing when the army arrived and saved him from getting killed (again). My reading is that it was a contrivance to establish her as being the kind of savvy one in politics and war who should probably be on the throne at Winterfell, which Snow and her subsequently agree to and is part of Littlefinger's plan, and then to create plot tension when all of a sudden everyone spontaneously jumps up endorses Snow as the King of the North and fucks up the plan.alanclarke72 wrote:Are you saying there is a back story to the silly appearance of Littlefinger's army at the last minute? I also enjoy the 'Inside the Episodes' with the writer/producer - Empire has been showing them after the episodes as well.
Episode 9 was by far the best of the series but it was still annoyingly let down by silly plot aberrations. Why, for example, didn't Sansa mention Littlefinger's army coming to the rescue when it looked like Bolton's army had won DURING her heated exchange with Jon the evening before? Or are we meant to believe she fixed it all in the few overnight hours before the battle. It's silly stuff like that that lets it down.
the number of plot issues since the last season (like when the girl assassins from dorne somehow "teleported" onto the ship when they where still on the docks during departure ) makes this season much less enjoyable.
also it has been too much good guys vs bad guys. one of the most intriguing parts of GoT was that most characters were not really evil nor anyone really good.
now with all the fantasy themes taking over the political intrigue and cunning strategy it feels more like some random Hollywood movie.
for making a food comparison i feel as if GoT was a nice full bodied wine which is turning into Coca-Cola. Still drinkable but much less fascinating.

Finale was great, except where Wobby Wombler put in an appearance going to the library.
Luminous green explosives? Seriously? What is this, script for Ben10?

ירי ילדים והפצצת אזרחים דורש אומץ, כמו גם הטרדה מינית של עובדי ההוראה.

Actually there have been several references to the wildfire (green explosives) under the city throughout the seasons, with Tyrian mentioning it an episode or two back.vladimir wrote:Finale was great, except where Wobby Wombler put in an appearance going to the library.

These are funny maps of how much the characters traveled this season - some are 'plausible,' others are silly.
