Is anyone else a bit disappointed with Season 6 so far? I've only got half way through, but I'm finding it a bit weak. The resuscitation of Jon Snow was a ridiculous development, and there is far too much focus this series on the less interesting fantasy nonsense - the Arya Stark 'the girl thinks' rubbish and the Bran Stark self indulgent flashback bollocks, while everyone around him is trying to save his fucking life?
That's the problem with these fantasy based narratives. No plot development is too nonsensical, because it can rely on magic or dragons or whatever to save the day, unlike, a more reality based series such as Sopranos or The Wire where they really have to rely on the strength of the characters and their development.
It's good - I'm enjoying it - but it's much weaker than the past few series. Nothing yet to compare with that fantastic battle scene of the wildlings attacking the Wall in season five, for example.

I'm enjoying season six. I thought it was weak for the first few episodes but gets better. I'm finding that if I offset the fantasy element of GoT with seasons of breaking bad, I tolerate the twists and plot confusions a little better. Also, on YouTube there are episode explanations each week that help remind about why plot developments are happening. I need that when I barely remember who is who from 1 week to the next, barring the main characters. One episode to go, then we can forget all about it for 12 months!

Last week was an adventure in gratuitous violence, lovely.
I do feel that they pandered to the audience by killing off Dog Prince in a very predictable way, one of the best actors the series ever had is gone.
The episode where dragon lady went full-frontal was interesting, Don't remember much else, can still see Playboy shaking as he posts a few weeks later.

ירי ילדים והפצצת אזרחים דורש אומץ, כמו גם הטרדה מינית של עובדי ההוראה.

Episode 9 was for sure the best yet, and supposedly the finale is pretty good. I'll be watching it at Empire tonight.
I also enjoy the 'Inside the Episodes' with the writer/producer - Empire has been showing them after the episodes as well.

Episode 9 was by far the best of the series but it was still annoyingly let down by silly plot aberrations. Why, for example, didn't Sansa mention Littlefinger's army coming to the rescue when it looked like Bolton's army had won DURING her heated exchange with Jon the evening before? Or are we meant to believe she fixed it all in the few overnight hours before the battle. It's silly stuff like that that lets it down.

Yes, and why don't they just give us a summary of the forthcoming events at the beginning of each episode? Just so sick of all this waiting around for the story to unfold.
