Next we'll have someone asking if fraud/ theft is really morally wrong.
The question implies the arrogant stance that politicians are somehow 'special' people. If the iRS or respective body can demand any detail of average Joe's income, why can the public not demand details of their servants?
if one has to ask, one is lost.
By his own admission, alan feels fraudulent statements are kosher when selling a property, even though gavinmac pointed out that such practices are illegal in several countries.
I don't think pyramid schemes are all bad, and Enron looks kosher.
Should politicians reveal their personal finances?

Not for the first time, the tedious vlad misses the point totally by wondering if politicians are special people. No they are not. It is precisely my point that they are not special people and so should have the same expectation of privacy as everyone else except when they breach tax laws. Which they haven't.

I don’t make to many political jokes on K440. Only because I've seen too many of them get elected.
My posts are just jokes, maybe they're rude, offensive, and politically incorrect. They're not my opinion, viewpoint, idea, or judgement, but they're just fucking jokes so lighten up.

They are normal people with special responsibilities. They handle way more money than the average citizen, yet you continue to suggest no extra precautions be taken. Compare an annual income of, $100,000 and 3 people involved with their own money, with $100 billion dollars with 40 million people involved with everyone involved. You would not allow extra checks? Great logic.
People like you are the reason corrupt politicians get away with stuff for so long, and I'd suggest it's not just a matter of false logic, but a matter of lacking ethics.

I have no idea what this sentence means, so I can't comment. It makes no sense to me.vladimir wrote:Compare an annual income of, $100,000 and 3 people involved with their own money, with $100 billion dollars with 40 million people involved with everyone involved. Anyway, it hardly matters. The tax returns published by Cameron, Osborne, Corbyn, MacDonald and Boris show them to be boringly compliant with no hint of any financial irregularities. The only interesting thing was that Corbyn was fined 100 quid for submitting his return late.

I'd like politicians to be required to keep their investment capital (savings) in blind trusts from the day they enter office until 3 years after leaving in order to reduce insider trading. There have been studies that compared the ROI for politicians at various stages of their career's and it showed clear correlations indicating insider trading.
