Come on Miguelito, Harold is a sharp cookie and a top bloke and definitely on to something. He saw through Playboy already so you might as well fess up to it, you do have slightly middle eastern looks come to think of it

'I fear the Greeks, even when they come bearing gifts.' (Yes, you can have your fun saying/translating other things, but that is the gist.)
Virgil.
Wise owls. Harold, mate, I have nothing at all against you. But I do find you a bit odd. Perhaps, I, too, am a bit odd. I don't know. I wish you well. I think trust can be a good thing and a bad thing - good among those whom you know, after many years, you can trust, but unwise against those whom one just feels one cannot 'trust'. I don't know how it works, but just follow the heart.
Edit***
Miguelito, I have never found anyone who drinks harder than a Pole. That's just my experience.

It would make me angry if one of those unibrowed, Japhetite wannabe freaks so much as glanced at me or stepped in my shadow.
I will say something good about your lying, conniving, and deceiving people: They really do excel at cooking and hand-to-hand combat.

This thread is great, it couldn't go more off topic if it tried. Fucking loonies.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
The only thing stopping me banning Sammy Sioux is his entertainment value, but it's horrible that this thread has been derailed by an irrelevant side issue.
The fact is an MP has been murdered by a deranged bigot. Let's focus on that. Not Harold.

Yes, the assassination was horrible and it shows how prevalent racism is in the UK. Native Americans fought and died for a united Europe and it is outrageous to see so many Britons wanting to undo all the progress that has been made.
One of Jo Cox's last tweets was this powerful appeal from a WWII vet who calls on Britons not to abandon the Europe he fought for

The alternatives like UKIP and Britain First don't want integration because they dream of going back to some twisted "little England" of yore. These days, it's sometimes difficult to distinguish between the hate rhetoric of a party like UKIP and the former British Union of Fascists which we can see from this tragedy never really disappeared from the UK.

No worries, it is amusing but detracts from the issue. It was an unprecedented act, for an MP to be murdered by a British nationalist. However I don't believe that this guy's behavior is at all indicative of the current aims and policies of the far right in the UK. From what I've read he seems to have been a lonely middle-aged guy who lived with his grandmother all his life and had some mental problems. From all of the reports so far it seems that he wasn't particularly racist. He just latched onto a cause that is popular at the moment, and went too far.scobienz wrote:The only thing stopping me banning Sammy Sioux is his entertainment value, but it's horrible that this thread has been derailed by an irrelevant side issue.

I used to know some far right guys in the UK, Inner City Firm lads. Most of them were nutters, like seriously crazy. One of the more sane ones lived near me in Camden, most of the others lived in Somers Town or whatever. He had some framed pictures in his flat. One was him in front of a crowd at a football match in 1979 (he would have been about 12 at the time), there were NF flags behind him. Another was Hitler's last speech. It was a bit weird because his girlfriend was black, and he lives in Thailand now.
The far right in the UK have a lot of popular support at the moment, they don't need to discredit their movement by resorting to assassinating MPs. They can do that after they win the elections.
