Apple's tax arrangements in Ireland have been deemed illegal by the EU, and they are now required to pay 13B in avoided back taxes:

To me, this is exactly one of the main purposes of the EU, to prevent states "racing to the bottom", offering companies special tax, environmental, or other laws, as a national-competitive edge.
But, debate!

Seing as i believe its the employees who pay the corporation tax and not the employer, does this mean the EU Apple workers will effectively get a pay cut in the future if the EU wins the case, or would Apple cough up the difference?
