Good luck with the new endeavor in Afghanistan, let's hope we can finally beat the bad guys there, or at least just blow most of their villages up.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

Back at you. You know full well they were ghost written. He can barely compose a tweet without littering it with exclamation points and spelling errors. Please feel free to defend him but do not have the gall to insult people's intelligence by suggesting he is a writer or has authored books.
You don't know 'full well' what he has written and what he hasn't. Having editors clean up text, punctuation, and correct spelling errors doesn't remove writing credit. Every person who has ever had anything published has editors and often co-authors for non-professionals writers. That is not a defense of Trump. That is a fact. Stop being a prat.Marmite wrote:Edwardo wrote:He's credited as author of multiple books already going back to 1987, several of which remained on the best sellers list for nearly a year. "The final straw actually involved my mortal enemy vladimir, who you may or may not know is an insufferable, overposting asshat."
I've had two books published. I'm qualified to know the difference between a ghost writer and an editor. I suggest you read the accounts of how Trumps books were written, penned by his ghost writers.
You're embarrassing yourself edwardo.

Were your books titled "I'm a prat" and "I'm a prat 2"? You can't write two consecutive posts without predictably repeating yourself.Marmite wrote:I've had two books published. Now that we've reduced you to childish insults, and been educated on the difference between an editor and a ghost-writer, can we safely assume you concede the point that Trump hasn't written his books?
Or would you prefer we continue to ridicule your ignorance? I'm quite comfortable either way. Just let me know.

Answer his question. What are the names of the books you've published? "How to lose an argument to telesales"?Marmite wrote:Now that we've reduced you to childish insults, and been educated on the difference between an editor and a ghost-writer, can we safely assume you concede the point that Trump hasn't written his books?

The answer to his question is no.Starving Pelican wrote:Answer his question. "?Marmite wrote:Now that we've reduced you to childish insults, and been educated on the difference between an editor and a ghost-writer, can we safely assume you concede the point that Trump hasn't written his books?

That's just looking back a few pages of your posts. Childish insults seem to be your norm. The books you pretend to have authored must be riveting, and not at all as inane as your posting here.Yes, I understand that, you punchdrunk tattoo'd pygmy.

I'm sorry Edwardo. Just to clarify - have we agreed that Trump didn't write his books, and that your attempts to conflate editors with ghostwriters was nonsense?
We seem to be getting sidetracked.

You said Trump couldn't possibly write a book because he can't even Tweet without spelling error and exclamation marks, as if you expected that any published Trump book would also contain the same. I responded that your comment was nonsense because editors routinely correct such things. I also mentioned that it is commonplace for non-professional writers to also be assigned a co-author. There is nothing unusual or unscrupulous in that, and it doesn't remove authorship credit. We aren't talking about novels or historical tomes here. His books are semi-autobiographical and convey his personal financial and business philosophy. I didn't say they were good. Then you got your panties in a twist about "ghostwriters vs. editors". Your imagined fight, not mine.Marmite wrote:I'm sorry Edwardo. You are not remotely as interesting, relevant or intelligent as you desperately try to convey yourself to be here. This forum has one pompous and delusional Alexandra persona and doesn't need another one, nor does it need another dull, clueless, and predictable wanna-be like andyinasia, and they still both run circles around you.
Indeed. This thread is about the Trump presidency. You derailed it, not me.Marmite wrote:We seem to be getting sidetracked.

I dont think I said that at all. Maybe someone ghost-wrote them for me.

I bet CNN already had an "Opinion" article written and waiting saying "Trump's visit to Houston is too little and far too late".
You just can't win.
I hereby demand that Donald Trump immediately and unequivocally condemn all hurricanes and natural disasters to my satisfaction or else I'm gonna tear down some public statues and attack pro-hurricaners!
