This is the big one- Chemical warefare actually destroys our Earth. There are still places deemed unsafe in Europe from all the chlorine and chemicals used during WWI.

I am missing the point? I am not the only one here who took what you said to mean " Does it matter how they die, chemicals vs bullets" to which I responded. I didn't miss any point. Perhaps you didn't type out what you actually wanted to say very clearly. Anyways, doesn't matter much, just a discussion. I don't think most sane humans want civillians to die, especially women and children.

I hope the end of 45's bromance with Putin is the worst to come out of this. Hopefully someone in that hot mess of an administration gets to Trump before it goes further.Lucky Lucan wrote:I agree, just for example hundreds of civilians were killed in US airstrikes in Mosul on March 17th. Being blown up fully or partially or being collaterally damaged by your roof caving in from a bomb or rocket isn't much fun either. While I think the use of chemical weapons should be banned, and knocking out a military airfield doesn't bother me too much, I don't like to see escalations, let's hope it isn't a precedent to further disaster.Jamie_Lambo wrote:
yeah of coarse fully understand that, i wasnt trying to compare them as which was more inhumane, my point was neither are humane to start with, the end game is still the same for the needless victim

I'm wondering about that one too. I can't decide what news to trust in this day and age .Hanno wrote:50 missiles and a 100 Million Dollars later, the airstrip is operational again a day later....

repeated over and over on the news, they did not target as they are easily repaired ( which they were quickly) but targeted the inter-structure which they did hit,
BUT only 29 out of 59 missiles got thru.

On BBC yesterday, a Pentagon spokesman said that the strips were indeed targeted and would be out of commission. Actually, there are munitions that are used specifically for targeting airstrips....Phuket2006 wrote:DetroitMuscle wrote:I'm wondering about that one too. If Assad didn't do it then why hasn't he said so?
Also Obama had said that overstepping the line would be the use of chemical weapons.

As of now, I'm not even convinced that chemical weapons were involved. The video featured on the NY Times shows men without hazmat suits, masks or even gloves washing down a supposed victim...those men would be dead in 2 minutes. It's extremely sloppy journalism at best, featuring high shock value GIFs and pretty much nothing else. In this day an age everyone has a smartphone...you're telling me those are the only pictures and videos anyone has got?
Then considering that the story regarding Susan Rice was breaking about illegally spying on Trump, and then all of a sudden this happens...
Sorry, I don't buy it, way too many red flags going up...
