Terrorist attack underway in London
Who gets to define this vague notion of who and what groups are enemies of the state? Would it include the far left who want to overthrow the state and create a people's republic? How about the far right extremists whose ranks included the nutter who killed Jo Cox? Do you include those on the basic that that one of their group was radicalised enough to kill, so others might also go down that path?
You're talking in rhetorical slogans without thinking your proposals through as practical realitles.

Already done.
Was toying with a tactical vote but in the end couldn't bring myself to do it.

No, it's not racist. Islam is not a race, it's a religion. There are white folks who follow Islam and there are olive skinned folks who are Christian.DF wrote:Is it not racist to call it a muslim internment?ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:That's when I realised it wasn't worth reading any more...AE86 wrote:Say what? Clearly a well informed individual.
The point I am trying to put over is, regardless of religion, if they are an enemy of the state, then they do not have the right to roam our streets as free individuals, watch list or not.
It's certainly discriminatory though.
But your comment was 'Muslim internment. Regardless of their religion'. Which is nonsense. You specified the religion then said they can be any religion. So what is it? Any religion? or Muslim? Or muslims who are partial to a little bit of Hinduism?

muslim internment is not my phrase. It was taken from previous posts, and used here as a question.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:DF wrote:Is it not racist to call it a muslim internment?ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:That's when I realised it wasn't worth reading any more...AE86 wrote:Say what? I find it distasteful and derogatory to use the term 'muslim' anything, which is why I raised it as a question.
That's not going to happen. Lincolnshire is epicentre of the Labour-voting but UKIP / BNP supporting, tracksuit from Sports Direct-wearing chav population. Those inbreds make Great Yarmouth people look like Islingtonites.RobW wrote:You should start a hug a muzzie extremist movement too, you big Nancy.Jamie_Lambo wrote:will be voting Labour fuck Teresa

British stoicism and common sense, I suspect.

now it is over can we change the thread title so I don't wonder if an attack is still underway each time I read it?

As I said, I do understand why 40% of their people vote for them but not the rest. Its like they believe everything they read in the sun/mail/expressMarmite wrote:British stoicism and common sense, I suspect.ReasonstobefearfulP3 wrote:Good on you!! I don't think common sense falls into it, only the top 5% in the country will be affected by tax rises, old people losing out on pensions, "dementia tax". Poor campaign, no real policies (apart from the ones mentioned earlier).
Stoicism, or resignation, is not a reason to vote
We British have always been essentially conservative. It's a natural characteristic. We are naturally repulsed by idealogues. We would much rather sit down and have a nice cup of tea and hope it all turns out for the best than have a revolution; all that sort of nonsense is best left to the Frenchies.
And long may it continue.
