tbh AE86, i'm not really sure what effective way you can single out people that are going to cause terror attacks, as Sooby said, it only takes a few guys in a coffee shop to organise it, then jump in a van with knives and go kill some infidels, the countries fucked, their multi cultural open borders meant well, but its let in a virus thats slowly infecting and spreading

Okay, but this topic is not all about your opinions, dude. EdinWigan and DF proposed internment of Muslims on watchlists (which number in the thousands) and others here seem to have showed some support for such radical ideas in general under the "something must be done" philosophy. They are "some posters".AE86 wrote:AE86 wrote:Edwardo wrote:This in the context of some posters on here now supporting mass internment of people who have done much less or nothing at all.I'm not saying I am a mass interment advocate (and certainly not for the internment of Muslims, if that's being inferred)scobienz wrote: As for some posters supporting internment . . well, what can I say? It's an idiotic position to take, similarly ill-thought through and counterproductive. Welcome to the internet. We have our fair share of nutjobs here too.

I missed those posts, so I apologise for that as I thought your remarks were directed solely at myself since I had just remarked on the internment of Japanese from FDR's decision, and then you replied with this.Edwardo wrote: Okay, but this topic is not all about your opinions, dude. AE86 wrote: You're assuming I disagree with FDR's decision to send the American Japanese into internment camps.
Edwardo wrote: Yes, I am guilty of that assumption. I may have been mistaken to think any rational person would look back on that sad chapter of American history and agree with that decision which uprooted the lives of Japanese families and interned women and children in appalling conditions while some of the sons were out fighting in the US military. My bad.
Back to the original subject though I just want to make it clear, I am not for the internment of Muslims as I do not think it is either ethical or the best decision for society to take at this time. I still don't know what the best solution is, but I don't believe it's interning Muslims.

Muslim internment. Regardless of their religion, hindu, muslim, or whatever, they are a threat to UK citizens. Most have re-entered the UK after fighting against our own troops. They are an enemy of the state and pose a threat.
Each attack kills around 13 people on average, and maims dozens more. Much more effective than allied forces who have flown around 20000 missions and killed an estimated 45000. It is urban warfare on our own streets.
By not locking them up or deporting them, then lives of unarmed civilians are at a huge risk.
They have relinquished their rights to a civilized nation, and should not be shown the courtesy or good manners of the British people.

Most? Where did you read that any UK terror attacks were carried out by anyone who actually fought for jihadists overseas? I did read that one of the killers in the most recent attack tried and failed to get into Syria, but got arrested before he got there and was returned to Britain. I think almost all of those who have carried out attacks there were either born there or came to the UK as kids.DF wrote:Most have re-entered the UK after fighting against our own troops.

There has been a lot of discussion here about muslim internment. My point is that regardless of their religion, if they are a threat to UK citizens, then they cannot be allowed to wander the streets.AE86 wrote:Say what? What we need is an atheist revolution. Something maybe called the Atheist Freedom Fighters to act as a buffer against all this religious bollocks.
As a start all of the thousands of pikies and chavs in Luton could unite to combat the Muzzie extremists in the city.

Ooo, hang on, this idea has some merit, a sort of modern day gladiatorial games, something to both entertain and weed out the underclasses.spitthedog wrote: ... As a start all of the thousands of pikies and chavs in Luton could unite to combat the Muzzie extremists in the city.
Mandatory enrollment for Chavs, Pikeys, Darkies, Gingers, the Left-handed, and politicians ... we could get David Attenborough to do the commentary

There are hungry lions in Africa surviving on less than 2 locals a day.

Is it not racist to call it a muslim internment?ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:That's when I realised it wasn't worth reading any more...AE86 wrote:Say what? Muslim internment...regardless of their religion?DF wrote:Muslim internment. Regardless of their religion, hindu, muslim, or whatever...

The point I am trying to put over is, regardless of religion, if they are an enemy of the state, then they do not have the right to roam our streets as free individuals, watch list or not.
