what happened to "lays"
"We are turning into a nation of whimpering slaves to Fear—fear of war, fear of poverty, fear of random terrorism, or suddenly getting locked up in a military detention camp on vague charges of being a Terrorist sympathizer." HST

Walkers was bought by Frito-lay pepsico in 1989, and so Walkers would be Lay's repackaged,
but try telling that to a stuffy old brit, and not get ignored...

Anyone remember Smiths Salt and Shake?
Maybe Lucan... I think they were an Irish thing.
They were my go to crisp as a child. Deconstructed ready salted crisps - maybe I was an early hipster.

I don't think smiths were sold in Ireland. There were just Tayto and King. Probably loads more now, dunno.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

They were cool in the 90s when they blew everyone's minds. I remember their first commercials as a kid "Once you pop, you can't stop" full of people in jean jackets. A classic of the 90s along with that Menthos jingle. Still, I find the only tolerable flavour is original.spitthedog wrote:Have you all gone mad ? Who the hell doesn't like Pringles ?

How McCoys are in the low tier is beyond me, they are, as the name suggests, "the real McCoy". and Twiglets, shit, really?
Frazzles belong in a tier of their own.
Pringles and Pombears can fuck right off.
Why no Golden Wonder?
