GM: So does Florida have the highest percentage of lags per 100,000 or whatever of the state population. My Google skills are pretty shite but would be interested to see where it sits in the US rankings.
Found some stuff on incarceration and FL high but not the highest, is it that bad a place to live surrounded by all these crims, are the Snowbirds responsible for raising the rate of undesirables? Is it just that a higher percentage actually travel more than 100km from their backyard? Or are there more people on the run? Is Cambodia recognised as a sister state of FL?
Anybody from FL who had to leave because of being uncomfortable knowing that you are highly likely to be quaffing your Bud next to mass murderers, conmen, or sexual predators in your local bar or strip club.

I think Baltimore is the worst city, it has the highest murder rate per capita and is an absolute shithole.

You can see drug deals on the street in Google Maps:

Have a virtual drive around. It doesn't get any better.

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Gary, Indiana or Elso, Nevada are my guesses, but really, most of the US
Keep in mind that Florida is about the same size as Cambodia. It is the size of a country. There are some nice parts and some not so nice parts, but nowhere in Florida is anywhere close to the worst place to live in the US. That probably does say a lot about the country unfortunately, but Google search some small towns in the eastern part of West Virginia, Kentucky, The Ozarks, northern Arkansas or Kansas...

Elko doesn't look that bad. I still think Baltimore is the worst, or maybe Detroit. Half the buildings in those places are boarded up and derelict.Gardiguy wrote:Gary, Indiana or Elso, Nevada are my guesses, but really, most of the US

I've been seeing posts on Reddit pop up about Detroit from time to time. Whether it is a picture or an article. The general theme seems to be that Detroit is undergoing a revival in the downtown area. I have a friend who moved to downtown and really likes it. Detroit has a public image/media problem first and foremost.
The greater Detroit metro area is one of the largest metro areas in our country by Sq. Miles. That's why you see abandoned houses 30 minutes outside of downtown. It grew too big and then White Flight occurred in the 50s through the 80s.
Over the past few years, I've been surprised to keep reading comments and stories from people who lived there or visited about how the downtown area is being revived.
Anyone who doesn't like Capitalism is a pathetic loser. God bless the USA and no place else.
Elko residents I'm guessing spend a lot of time with right wing talk radio, worrying about space aliens being hired at the Walmart , crisis actors, and Obama coming for their guns. So yeah a good slice of 440 folks would dig it.Lucky Lucan wrote:Elko doesn't look that bad. I still think Baltimore is the worst, or maybe Detroit. Don't blame me I voted for Sanders
^And how do violent crime statistics measure up for places that voted overwhelmingly for Hillary Clinton?
