I see you watched the John Oliver. I also liked the Black Elvis attorney general, the AG that stole the $1000 pen (and the following attack ad: “vote for me, I won’t steal your pen”), and the creepy AG hitting on the camera woman.
Haha, yup. Since that episode I've been searching YouTube for American political ads, and man are there some weird ones

Here’s a funny one about a Republican, whose law license has been suspended over allegations of sexual assault, is trying to sway college students by offering a (only one) free keg of Bud Light (Bud Light!).Gardiguy wrote:Haha, yup. The elections are one week away, and the typcial ad (on TV, radio and in mailed flyers) for just about any office on the ballot, no matter how small and local and insignificant, often have the candidate saying "...and I'll stand up to Donald Trump!!"
The fucking local public library trustee board member candidates are talking about how they'll oppose Trump while in office if elected. As if they have any power or anything to do with the Federal goivernment or the Executive Branch. But mention hating Trump and you'll get attention. Unreal.
But the black AG candidate is rocking that Elvis jumpsuit.

He damn well better be vocally anti-Trump if he lives in a "blue state", or else the poor bastard and his family will be "hounded" by protestors shouting "Shame, shame, shame" or other such witty slogans at his home and office or God forbid he goes out to a restaurant with his wife or something else repulsive that non Trump-haters have no right to even consider doing.Playboy wrote:Is the town Dog Catcher also running an anti-Trump platform ??
And I want my $1000 pen back from that thieving AG cunt.
I just heard a political ad on radio for the Senate race in Indiana.
Uh oh. He's one of THEM? Which one of those THEM is he? This is ominous, to say the least. What if I voted for him and he turned out to be one of the THEM that I am most afraid of? That would be disastrous. Thank God I don't live in Indiana. Hopefully those THEMs will stay there and not come over near me. I better get some more ammo, just in case.Joe Donnelly isn't one of us, anymore. He's ...one ....of....THEM!!!!
