I've told myself i'm gonna eat less meat simply because it's more healthy. Takes alot of effort for the body to digest meat.
The fact that meat can flare up a spout of gout should tell you something.
Tofu is pretty damn good in barangland.
The only problem is that a diet of mostly tofu , beans, potatoes, veggies and Guinness (Irish Black Pather's) can really fill a room well with gas. Ahhh well, she'll get used to it.

Which is why those vegetarian animals of super strength (gorillas & elephants) spend most of their waking life foraging and eating. No time for forums or other mentally taxing pursuits.
And gorillas have canines.
Never mind.

I've been accused of that before, but why now?
Because I'm open minded enough to try (and enjoy) a product from a $2 billion company (I previously said $1 billion, but I stand corrected), which is served in over 5,000 outlets in the U.S., and more globally? Star chefs such as David Chang (Momofuku in NYC) and Gordan Ramsey have it on their menus, and Burger King plans to roll it out nationwide (in the US) by the end of the year. It is financed by some of the top investors in the world, including Bill Gates.
So, what's your point?

Her point is clearly that you are insane.

... Apologies to non-native speakers (inc Americans) for the second part of that post, it is extra colloquial.

my point was it really doesn't look good at all. but, I admit to not being a burger fan really.
leaving your insanity aside, I truly get irked by this need to make non meat meat things and call them non meat meat things.
plus, what PB said

It is wrong.
Happy to eat a veggie burger that looks like vegetables but not that abomination.

Personally I don't see what the fuss is about these new vegan burgers, just as long as the vegans were killed humanely.....

Is Wendy's that awful UK takeaway place? There was a bean burger that some god awful joint did in the UK in the late 80s/early 90s. Veggie is fine. But don't be giving me that pretend stuff dressed up as meat (that looks like an awful burger)

I don't get why people get offended by calling non-meat items but names that are traditionally associated with meat. No one gets offended by a turkey burger or a fish burger, or chicken sausage, or turkey bacon, or the such. It's a "veggie burger" or "vegan patty", not trying to copy or deceive anyone. And they do it because because people like the texture and flavors of a burger, just as they are also allowed to make veggie paninis, sandwiches, raviolis, tacos, bahn mi, etc.
