https://www.vanityfair.com/style/2018/1 ... tor-reportt’s now a well-publicized fact that Donald Trump managed to avoid the Vietnam draft back in 1968 through a medical exemption that has long seemed shaky at best. During his presidential run in 2016, Trump said that he was exempt due to bone spurs in his feet, though he couldn’t recall the name of the doctor who had given him the diagnosis. According to a new report from The New York Times, however, Trump’s medical examination possibly came from a Queens podiatrist who didn’t just claim Trump’s father, Fred Trump, as a landlord, but potentially reaped specific favors for helping his son dodge the draft.

Didn't Trump say that the sexual revolution was his Vietnam?

Bone spurs eh? That explains why he's not a scratch golfer, Or is it this book detailing his lack of golf course ethics?
(Golf channel) From pulling a fast one on Tiger Woods to exaggerating his handicap, Donald Trump's alleged misdeeds on and around the golf course are the subject of a new book by former Sports Illustrated columnist Rick Reilly, ''Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump.'' Reilly documents dozens of examples of underhanded golf behavior by the president, transgressions talked about by pro golfers and duffers alike.
''In golf, he's definitely not exonerated,'' Reilly told The Associated Press. ''There's been dozens and dozens of people that can declare him guilty of cheating.''
One infamous instance came in a 2017 round with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson, who is the current No. 1 player in the world. The president's playing partner, Fox Sports golf analyst Brad Faxon, reported that Trump's offenses included putting down a score that didn't account for two balls he hit into the water on one hole.
''You've heard so much about it, it's almost like you want to witness it so you can tell the stories,'' Faxon is quoted as saying.
No big deal, many would say. It's only a game.
But outside of formal tournaments, golf is a game of honor in which individual players act as their own referees, keep their own scores and assess themselves penalties for rule violations. Trump's cheating, Reilly said, motivated him to write the book.
Says Reilly: ''I don't know much about politics, but I know golf and it really offended me, not as a voter or as a citizen - just as a golfer.''
Reilly quotes players who accuse Trump, his caddie and Secret Service agents of regularly moving his golf balls out of difficult lies. At Winged Foot Golf Club in New York, the only non-Trump property where the president is a member, Reilly writes, ''The caddies got so used to seeing him kick his ball back onto the fairway they came up with a nickname for him: 'Pele.''' That's the world soccer star from Brazil.
Sports announcer Mike Tirico says Trump once threw Tirico's golf ball off the green into a nearby bunker when they played together.
Some of the allegations aren't new. Boxer Oscar De La Hoya told The AP in 2016 that Trump cheated against him twice in the space of two holes. ''Yes, I caught him,'' De La Hoya said. ''It was unbelievable. But I guess it was his course, so it was his rules.''

Freedom is not a state. It is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau.. Freedom is a continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society.-John Lewis

As a Vietnam vet who has known of lots of people who dodged the draft,I think that most young men who had influence avoided the draft.I resented them for it for many years but eventually realized that the Vietnam war was about making money for the families of politicians in the U.S. government. They assinated JFK because he was against going to war in Vietnam. There were huge profits to be made from investments with the companies who made weapons aircraft ammunition, transport, and supplies for the military. They drug the war out and milked the system as long as they could.America could have won that war in a month easily if the politicians had not placed restrictions on where to bomb.Dragging wars out has become a real moneymaking scheme for our politicians.Trump was no different than most young men with influence.Even if they served they were not assigned to combat units.Only 1 out of every 17 men who served in Vietnam served in Combat.Being a grunt in Vietnam sucked. However officers only had to do 6 months in a line unit.Enlistedmen did the whole year.I enlisted just to go to Vietnam and spent 4 years there in combat and would have stayed longer if I could have because I actually enjoyed being there.I had to kill and was wounded a couple of times but I never killed anyone out of meaness.I killed people to avoid being killed by them.I would not allow anyone around me to commit war crimes and I treated prisoners with respect and gave medical care to wounded enemy soldiers the same as I would to our own.I hate that politicains caused so much misery for so many people simply out of greed but that's what gets us into wars and as long as we have politicians we will have wars and they will drag them out fort as long as they can.

Show me one president who didn't cheat or who wasn't involved in something very dodgy
Biden's son is being protected, isn't that also unacceptable?
Both sides are scummy scammers, it's a pre-requisite for running for office.

Zero to Hunter Biden in four years.
Good old vlad. He never changes - swinging from far left to far right with wonderful ease.
His father is pretending to be the current POTUS, perhaps you were unawareMike Farce wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 7:00 pmCan you please remind us of what government positions Hunter Biden has held since the draft ended in 1973?
Aiding and abetting a criminal is a criminal act itself in most countries
And Sleepy Joe, just like Trump the Dump, and every dirtbag before them, has had some very shady dealings with foreign governments and national or international dodgy organisations
