3 runs and 3 wickets off the final over mean Bangladesh need 315.
I think it will be beyond them on this pitch but you never know

Banglas are out.
Today Eng vs NZ. The host team have the edge especially as the Kiwi openers are not reliable.

It's a must win game today chaps. Tempted to go and watch some but I tend to steer clear of bars so not sure.
England for the win.

Sun will be out early on but cloudy by lunchtime is the forecast.

All sports bar is pretty good for the cricket if in PP. They always have it on and have a decent happy hour from 4-8. I much prefer it to Score personally.tonytonytony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2019 8:09 amIt's a must win game today chaps. Tempted to go and watch some but I tend to steer clear of bars so not sure.

With these wearing, already-used pitches, England's 305-8 might well prove difficult to chase down. If 'Baz' were opening the NZ innings. they might have fancied their chances ...

Looks like, with the big wicket of Citizen Kane, England should take this game, (61-3 off 15.1)
As most of you know, I've been known to flirt with 'Conspiracy Theories' but there will be some Pakistan fans who will wonder at the two run-outs coming so quickly together. Farcical!
**UPDATE***
Read this on cricinfo just seconds ago:

The Kiwis are showing they are out of their depth at the moment. It's not a conspiracy they lost, they are just hapless at times and in to a slump. Their openers are sub par and the bowling poor as well.
Who would guess Guptil has the highest score at a WC(237) and only batsman to score a double century at a WC (Wellington 2015). Had always been curious why the IPL shunned him for so long.

Just joking about the conspiracy!
3 so-called dead rubbers coming up. It's a pity we've been robbed of what could have been an intense Pakistan v Bangladesh match.
And I doubt if there's such a thing as a 'meaningless match' when South Africa play Australia on Saturday. I'll certainly be following that with interest.
Windies have been intensely disappointing and they're again being tied down by Afghanistan
(86-1 off 20). Some poor fielding and a dropped catch or two, as well.

Pakistan are going OK (94-1 off 20).
But, way too slow, given their predicament.
Inzamam-ul-Haq's nephew is going well ... no conspiracy there, of course ...

Babar is a great stroke player, lots of style but he's out lbw for 94.springrain wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2019 5:54 pmPakistan are going OK (94-1 off 20).

He is a great stroke maker, agreed, The whole team (and country)has so much talent, but 'politics' and corruption in sport seem to interfere so much in player selection and development. Perhaps Bob Woolmer was trying to sort that out, but that's another story.
They seem to be constantly embroiled in controversy, which can't help the young players hoping to come through. There aren't many teams I prefer watching, though.
