Now they charge a 19 year old and he faces possible life imprisonment. Hong Kong is dead. PRC is a vicious killer of mind and freedom.

Yall know now why prc will do anything to have total control over hk...$$¥¥££₩₩€€$$
No one is coming to rescue hk.
If the people do not submit, prc will make them submit.

It’s a shame you Americans don’t know history. If you did you’d know how HK was ceded to the British, and why it’s so important for China that they maintain sovereign integrity.
Ditto for Macao and Taiwan.
We would only what prc, hk,macao & taiwan really want if they had general elections & referendums.
When are they going to happen?
When are they going to happen?
Taiwan was never "ceded" to China. It was a vassal state of one of the emperors for a while but has rarely been in Chinese hands. It was never part of the PRC.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 1:04 pmCommunist elite wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 5:06 amYall know now why prc will do anything to have total control over hk...$$¥¥££₩₩€€$$

The end is nigh for the imagination of those living in Hong Kong. Is it no small irony that a few of the UK's and Europe's biggest banks recently relocated some of their top dogs to Hong Kong..? Nobody left but rich whore-fuckers with polyamorous wives, lol... No more free-thinking backpacker types living out on the islands working the streets and schools... The red badge of moronic idiocy smothers all!

Technically it was HK island that was ceded with the rest following later.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 1:04 pmCommunist elite wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 5:06 amYall know now why prc will do anything to have total control over hk...$$¥¥££₩₩€€$$

Claude MacDonald, the British representative during the convention, picked a 99-year lease because he thought it was "as good as forever". ... Britain did not think ...

China isn't even trying anymore. Beijing handpicked those that are to stand in Hong Kong's "elections".

I was there about a month ago for thd first time in a couple of years. The bustle is gone and there are almost no young professionals. That burst of them onto the streets at lunchtime just doesn't happen.
A lot of empty perches to be filled by mainland "patriot" professionals, and Xi-ification will be done. I suppose the same will happen in Taiwan, perhaps without even the need for war.
