The Conservatives have officially launched their election campaign
They packed them all in to the cavernous hall. They gave them their placards and they told them when to wave them.
Then in walked their wobbling Sun God. He cleared his throat, punched his palms into the lectern and threw open the sluice gates.
The lies poured forth like open sewage, or a catastrophic explosion at the start of a disaster movie.
Out they tumbled at such speed it was impossible to know where one began and one ended. At times, actual, self-contained lies could be made out, like bodies on the current of a deadly river.
At others, the lies had coagulated to form a kind of very slow-cooked bullshit casserole, the false meat and the untrue gravy forming a kind of unctuous slop

Rants? Rage? Yes, he will probably win as I said on another BREXIT thread yonks ago.
You'd be lucky to get a free glass of tap water off a middle-class Englishman if you were dying, let alone any genuine sympathy (money) for the poor when it comes to the crunch. It will take another war to bring people round to Corbyn's ideas.
Anyhow, this Johnson bloke is a cunt's cunt.
How about this from today:
"Johnson did not attack Farage, who is popular with many Brexiters, by name but said those who “cast aspersions” on the deal with the EU have a vested interest in Brexit not happening."
This after the cunt pulled his already negotiated and passed BREXIT deal. The only person/people that wanted to stop BREXIT then, was himself and his far-right cohorts because it wouldn't be hard enough after the amendments. Just like when he/ they voted against May's deal because it wasn't hard enough. This pretence that he's any different to the rest of the politicians in this respect is just so much ditch water. He wants BREXIT only if it's his idea of BREXIT.
Why wasn't that spread over every headline in the country? "Johnson Votes Against His Own BREXIT Deal - Wants To Die in a Ditch Rather Than GET BREXIT DONE".
Whatever newspapers like The Guardian pretend, the majority of writers and editors have too much to lose personally if Corbyn gets in. Don't expect a free glass of water from them either.
Fuck the middle-class English. They have the education and should be free of the prejudice but instead still aspire to the Prince Philip values and miserly spirit of the upper classes who they continue to look up to..
Now, that's what I call an angry rant.

There's absolutely no point in voting sweet-tits in your constituency. She won't get in and it will only make the Mrs jealous.
So, the rough economic plan has been set-out by both main parties. I'd be interested in your take on the fiscal realities they portend.

No idea what you’re talking about re voting for sweet tits. Are you drunk?
I won’t be voting for either of the main parties so haven’t as yet taken much notice of the economic plans. I am, however, generally against nationalisation and increased taxation.

Johnson promises fast track ‘NHS visa’ for doctors and nurses.
Too late Bozo, thousands of doctors and nurses have already left the NHS thanks to you. And they won't be coming back because of you inciting your supporters to bigotry and violence towards them.
Tell me again how you're going to invest in the NHS. You cunt.

My seat is Sheffield Hallam. For many years it was held by LibDems. It was taken by Labour in 2017 but after the appalling performance of MP Jared OMara it is almost certain to be taken by Libs again.
No, they won’t win. But it’s looking increasingly likely after the past announced yesterday and the Tory/Brexit feud that they could win enough seats to control be a sensible counterbalance either to Johnson or Corbyn in what is clearly going to be a hung Parliament.

Yet again a southern Tory leader shows he is hopelessly out of tune with the voters north of the border. Boris's message to Scotland is to vote Tory to stop another independence vote, he seems to fail to recognise the very simple fact that the respective referendums showed the Scottish electorate value a union with the EU more than an independent UK outside the EU. They ain't going to buy it and I can see the 13 seats they gained last election being wiped out in favour of the SNP.
The only party that will end up destroying the union is the Tory's through their own nationalistic policies. SNP to hold the balance of power this time replacing unfortunately for him the appalling Ulster Unionists.

Are you seriously saying you think the SNP would collaborate with the Tories in a hung parliament?

No of course not, but I think their potential 40+ seats may be the decisive factor this time in a hung Parliament compared to the Unionists dozen or so May's ill fated self interested gamble produced last time. However interesting question, if the rest of the UK backed the Tories and effectively Brexit and Scotland the SNP and effectively the EU, would both sides see that as a mandate to split up the UK for their own national interests ? The hung Parliament scenario brings everything to a total stalemate and I don't know where they go from there.kungfufighter wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 8:28 pmAre you seriously saying you think the SNP would collaborate with the Tories in a hung parliament?
If he could take Jacob Rees Mogg with him on his Scotland trip I'm sure that would go down a treat and seal the deal for Scottish voters.

You have to remember that Johnson doesn't want his deal. He wants No Deal. Johnson's deal was just all about trying to force an election. Hence any deal will do. He knew that if it passed, it wouldn't go through clean. As soon as Labour voted it through, he knew he'd got his election. He made sure it wouldn't pass onto the Lords by adding a ridiculous timing motion giving just two effective days scutiny. When he pulled it, he effectively voted against his own deal and stopped Brexit 'getting done'.rl66 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 8:57 amNo of course not, but I think their potential 40+ seats may be the decisive factor this time in a hung Parliament compared to the Unionists dozen or so May's ill fated self interested gamble produced last time. But, who in the msm reported it as that?
It's in limbo to be supposedly brought back at a later date. But remember, even if it is, there is still a default No Deal included in the WAB if the free trade agreement hasn't been made before 1st Jan 2001.
That's what I believe his real aim is. There's not many in the business who believe that a trade deal can be worked out in a year. More like three. Which is why the EU gave possible extensions for up to three years. Last week Johnson said he wasn't going to extend after Dec 2000. Johnson's praying for a majority government, so that even if it's just a slight majority, he's hoping it will be enough to stop parliament voting through any amendments and any new extension. Then he'll blame the EU for being unreasonable re the trade agreements and exit No Deal.
The Conservatives under Thatcher were the ones that escalated the Northern Irish problem. They won't be splitting the union if they can help it. They'd rather see the troubles start again. Just pray that Labour gets enough support in the rest of the UK. At least you'll have a greater chance of another referendum then. And who knows, he might actually be what Scotland needs, atm. There's also the distinct possibility of a Labour SNP government which may be good news for Scotland?
I can see pro independence Scots wanting to take advantage of the situation, but isn't that a bit like what the Johnson and his Brexiters have been doing all along?
Anyhow, good luck whatever happens.
Incidentally, investors in the pound would prefer Corbyn to a No Deal.
Pound investors’ biggest fear on snap UK poll in December isn’t Corbyn

It said last month it would stop all political advertising, making the British election one of the first major tests for the new policy.
It said on Monday it was also taking additional steps to make sure the British election was “healthy, open and safe”.
It is launching a tool for people to report deliberately misleading information about the voting process, for example how to vote or register to vote, or false information about the date or time for the election.
FFS, is that really the sort of thing that Johnson, Cummings and their Russian pals get up to? Is there no limits to how low these fuckers will go?
That maybe the real problem with public schools in the UK, they teach you to win, whatever it takes, even if it means cheating and lying. They also seem to spend tax-payers money on shit loads of coke. It's time they were gone.
BTW, if any of you Tories are voting by post, it doesn't need to get there until the 14th of December in order to be counted.
