I agree. If Johnson is elected, It will be viewed in direct comparison with the election of Trump. Which for a Brit will be about as embarrassing as you can get.

Not only will Johnson and his Brexiters have lied to the electorate in virtually every advert/ thing they have said during the election, but the implementation of their Oven-ready deal will also be breaking the law.
tusk, tusk.
New analysis warns that Mr Johnson’s agreement – under which the UK will leave the EU by the end of January, if he wins the general election 2019 – will break the law.
It contravenes the Taxation (Cross-border Trade) Act 2018 which prohibits “arrangements under which Northern Ireland forms part of a separate customs territory to Great Britain”
GENERAL ELECTION: ALMOST EVERY TORY AD DISHONEST, COMPARED WITH NONE OF LABOUR’S, RESEARCH FINDS
Almost every Conservative Party advert analysed during a period of the election campaign was found to be misleading, compared with none of Labour’s, research has found.
Some 88 per cent of the most widely circulated Tory ads during the first four days of December included inaccurate claims, according to disinformation tracking organisation First Draft.

#like button.EIKROY wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 12:36 amVery interesting. A good friend of mine is a senior nursing sister at Leeds General Infirmary. The Prime Minister shown in the fridge by the media was in fact put there by Corbyn, who then took photo's on his mobile phone and uploaded it to media outlets before he announced The Labour Party will be nationalising Sausages after gaining power. A senior Tory source has confirmed that, outside the metropolitan bubble, the people of The UK hide in fridges all the time. I have been a fridge repairman for the last 174 years, and every single fridge I have fixed has had a Prime Minister inside it. To be fair it's the best place to keep Chicken.
I'm pretty sure Slavedog's fridge had Tony Blair in it when he bought it secondhand. He got passed on with the fridge.
In other news: the BBC's Laura Kuenssberg has just tweeted that Jeremy Corbyn kicked her in her cunt.

Take it up with First Draft. Please post your correspondence with them. I could do with another good laugh at a Tory's expense.Fuzzhead22 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 10:42 amgrow up a little, please...kungfufighter wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 8:35 amAlmost every Conservative Party advert analysed during a period of the election campaign was found to be misleading, compared with none of Labour’s, research has found.
Full Fact and First Draft are organizations that specialize in fact-checking and verification. Full Fact is the UK’s independent, non-partisan fact-checking organization, and First Draft is a global network of newsrooms, technology companies, human rights organizations and academic institutions who work in the verification space.

They support the liberal middle ground, they say. Dallow has even supposedly cutup his Conservative membership card.
They couldn't be more wrong if they tried, which they obviously haven't. Corbyn's Labour is the middle ground whilst the Tories are no better than the BNP on many levels, and Trump's Republicans on the rest.
Please properly educate yourselves in this matter before the 12th.
The switchboard is open.
I’m in a marginal seat. The LibDems bave a chance of retaking it from Labour. The Tories aren’t in the running.
As I am hoping for a hung Parliament, one in which Johnson will again be held to account by the grownups I will be voting Lib Dem.

So there's you and RobW, who's voting for Abbot, and I think Slavedog' s on the cusp. That fuzzhead is a no-hoper though. He may well be BNP. Playboy's probably voting for more booze.Dallow Spicer wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 2:16 pmkungfufighter wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 12:09 pmAll those people like Dallow Spicer who think that the only choice in this election is between two extremes: Conservative hard right vs Labour hard left.

In principal I agree that voting is a waste of time but 2016 was an exception for Americans because merely mentioning that you voted for Trump was enough to piss off a decent chunk of people. Plus he hasn't started any new wars which is something that Clinton most certainly would have done.

A dark cloud of evil is currently rolling over the whole of the UK. It's going to be a black Christmas. Expect rats and spiders to pour out of your presents.
