From the whistleblower's complaint, link provided: UNCLASSIFIED
The President also praised Ukraine's Prosecutor General, Mr. Yuriy Lutsenko, and suggested that Mr. Zelenskyy might want to keep him in his position. (Note: Starting in March 2019, Mr. Lutsenko made a series of public allegations—many of which he later walked back—about the Biden family's activities in Ukraine, Ukrainian officials' purported involvement in the 2016 U.S. election, and the activities of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv. See Part IV for additional context.)
The White House officials who told me this information were deeply disturbed by what had transpired in the phone call. They told me that there was already a "discussion ongoing" with White House lawyers about how to treat the call because of the likelihood, in the officials' retelling, that they had witnessed the President abuse his office for personal gain.
The Ukrainian side was the first to publicly acknowledge the phone call. On the evening of 25 July, a readout was posted on the website of the Ukrainian President that contained the following line (translation from original Russian-language readout):
• "Donald Trump expressed his conviction that the new Ukrainian government will be able to quickly improve Ukraine's image and complete the investigation of corruption cases that have held back cooperation between Ukraine and the United States."
Aside from the above-mentioned "cases" purportedly dealing with the Biden family and the 2016 U.S. election, I was told by White House officials that no other "cases" were discussed. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/pol ... 773047002/

Freedom is not a state. It is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau.. Freedom is a continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society.-John Lewis

Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and Joe Biden.
Could you call that shadowy forces at work?
Looking back it's funny to look at Rudy Giuliani's public image/personality just after 9/11, and compare it to now. Farking night and day personas.
The man clearly likes center stage a little too much.
Hey, which do you think is the more ridiculous/laughing stock of the world right now? The U.S shower of shit, or the UK Conservatives on Brexit shower of shit?

Of course, if you were strongly anti-Trump, nobody would be questioning you thinking for yourself.Hot_Pink_Urinal_Mint wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2019 6:39 pmIt's also a bit cheeky to suggest that I 'try to think for myself' when I was the person who posted the transcript and usually post links that support my point of view...

The acting US ambassador to Kyiv has provided congressional committees conducting impeachment hearings a detailed account of how Donald Trump repeatedly sought to make a summit meeting and military aid to Ukraine conditional on its government launching investigations into the president’s political opponents.
Up the workers!
Lying, cover up, obstruction, conspira 45cy. Multiple instances of.
Plus his attempt to push for the G7 being hosted at his resort at the us taxpayer's expense, once again.
Gets better and better.
I hope not only the orange buffoon but also his close family gets locked up. The guy's a proven cheat, criminal and traitor, Putin's patsy like Syria and the Kurds proved once more.

If it was proven then why is he not serving jail time for his crimes?logos wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 12:46 pmLying, cover up, obstruction, conspira 45cy. Multiple instances of.

Because it’s a long-standing tradition that sitting presidents can’t be criminally indicted.
My hunch is that he would have resigned long ago if it wasn’t for the fear of criminal proceedings from SDNY being inevitable as soon as he is out of office. That’s why he fears impeachment so much.
