Guess you were wrong, just like you were wrong about the Russian election interference conspiracy.Dallow Spicer wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2019 4:20 pmNobody is dismissing the memo you daft bint. The memo is prima facie evidence of what he is likely to be charged with.
What’s fascinating is that he and you can’t see it.
What are the chances, do you think, that Trump doesnt actually stand in 2020? He seems shaky to me, and despite what they are saying in public, it's seeming increasingly likely to me that the GOP hierarchy is seeing him as an electoral liability.
I wasn’t wrong at all. Even the GOP senators admit he was guilty but they are terrified of him and gave him a pass.
It’s ok. His mental decline is so quick these days he will be gone soon one way or the other.
How is that massive national debt sitting with your conservative libertarian views?

Pasted from a US based forum discussing the current crisis
As I understand the gist of what I have read by eminent epidemiologists and virologists, the US had a 2.5 - 3 month window to prepare itself for COVID-19, which the experts knew would eventually make its way to the US. I conclude, based on articles read and interviews watched, the Trump administration largely frittered away this time: it failed to create a plan, establish a pandemic management infrastructure, develop tests, stockpile supplies, assess the possible strains on the economy, coordinate with state and local health departments, or even develop a database to track confirmed cases in the country. Instead, it tried to happy talk the virus out of existence; the rough equivalent of sending thoughts and prayers after a mass shooting. The result of course is the present level of chaos, incompetence and panic.
Yesterday, a Columbia University-based epidemiologist estimated that for all the hype coming from the White House about testing, the US has still tested less than 2,000 people. Contrast that to Korea, which has somehow managed to test more than 100,000. The result is that public health experts have no idea of the extent of the spread of the virus in the US, nor how many people have actually been infected. Even as I write this, there’s no procedure in place for tracking the numbers tested.
As always in the case of Trump’s multiple con games that have characterized his life, it’s other people who pay the price; he never pays. In this instance, it’s the American people and to some extent, the American economy that will pay.
America has elected a mentally impaired, amazingly stupid and incompetent leader. For years various pundits have commented that “so far” America had been lucky in that the clown in the White House had not had to confront a real crisis...until now. Now Americans will collectively have to pay the price for installing the most unfit, least competent President in its history. It’s a very steep price to pay.

^^ the reason for this is that the CDC haven't been able to get the kits out as there was a test kit manufacturing issue. The other issue is that in the US - therea re only 12 labs in just 5 states that have the ability to do the test! So a mixuture of complete ineptness, unclear policy, chronic underfunding and no foresight! But, if you elect a person who doesn't believe in science, that's what you get!

Trump has long been against shaking hands (as he's a germophobe). I agree that shaking hands is rather dirty - the amount of times that I see men leave public restrooms without washing their hands is appalling. La Bise (the French/European way of greeting) is definitely more sanitary.

I now use the Vulcan salutation.
No one in Cambodia gets it, but it does make me smile.
