Eh? Point of order Mr Speaker, she was born in Italy to Scottish parents, grew up in Glasgow and went to Uni in Edinburgh. As usual a Labour supporter with no grasp of the facts.kungfufighter wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 11:12 amYou Scots have always had a big thing for posh English girls. So, nothing new there.

"We, the sons of John Company, have arrived"
That's about the best possible outcome of that sorry farce
How's that working for you angsta?
To be fair, a strong argument for Scottish Independence, I could see that happening in my lifetime. But we're keeping Wales, it's a coal & sheep thing.

The silence from my lovey Labour supporting friends on Facebook is remarkable. Five odd posts a day this last week, ridiculing and attacking me had I dared to offer an alternative view. Now......nothink.

Never have I felt so pessimistic about the future of the ( Europe) world as I do now. I remember when the Berlin Wall came down and how everyone thought that the cold war was over and borders were open and... and...and.. the future was bright. Strange that Slavedog out of all the expats I know seems to be the only one who supports the tories, Boris and the return of national egotistical nonsense.
For the last six months I have been travelling Spain n Morocco and I am surprised at how many Brits ( 40 year old and over ) are fleeing the country once they have enough in their pockets to do so. These aren't junky , can't get a job types but working class , firemen, nurses, builders, etc, who cannot wait to fuck off as soon as they can claim half their private pension.
