You should really fact check things before posting them. Biden was talking to the presenter George Lopez in that clip, with the parts before and after cut out, there is no context here. He was speaking to George, addressing him.

The mayor looked the other way for years as the mostly peaceful antisemites robbed, beat up, and terrorized the Hasidic community. The fact that assaults on Jews are so common and so rarely punished has emboldened the antisemites.

Unfortunately these kinds of attacks on Jews are also going on in New Jersey and abroad in European cities like Paris and Malmo. The situation in Europe is so bad that many European Jews are making Aliyah because they fear for their lives and do not see a future for Jews in Europe

Then I’d hate to be you and I rather pity you. Because common decency can and has prevailed throughout history - if it hadn’t humanity would not have made the huge advances we have made in areas like science, art and - yes - democracy.

I don’t know if America is ready for decency yet. I fear not and yet I’m encouraged that the most ardent Trump loyalists on here are a Dutchman, an Aussie, a Brit and a Scottish drunk

It seems to me most yanks on here yearn for a return to normalcy.
