US Election 2020
Meanwhile MSNBC pundits be like:
Their perceived win is emboldening them to the point they don't even bother hiding their fascism.

That's fucked. Katy Perry was recently attacked for daring to state that she still loved, and wanted to maintain links with, her Trump-voting family members.
Anyway, when it comes to the politics of those sticking feathers in their caps and calling it macaroni, foreign policy is the only thing that interests me, and I like what I'm hearing from Old Joe so far.

What I find disturbing is Ocasio Cortez talking about drawing up a list of Trump supporters. What does she intend to do with such a list?
So that they cannot downplay or deny their complicity. Those that try to delete and/or deny what they have said/done won't be able to.

Have Mr. Xi and Mr. Putin still failed to send their congratulations as a matter of interest?

I believe so. But that could well be a bluff. Or a double bluff, perhaps.

But, genuine question, why does it matter who someone supported in a bygone election? They supported Trump, but he lost. Time to move on.
Doesn't matter to me but seems it is about holding people accountable. I don't really envision the supporters trying to hide from it either, they are too cult-like so they will be calling for Trump 2024 I'd bet. The comment by AOC is divisive and thankfully Biden is doing the opposite and commenting he is working for all people even those who voted against him.Starving Pelican wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 10:02 pmBut, genuine question, why does it matter who someone supported in a bygone election? I know a number of supporters, I would not label them all as evil racists. Some of them did start expressing their racism but others I felt were just misguided.
Biden I don't trust at all, but at least there is hope he will be more unifying. He says the right things.

"We are turning into a nation of whimpering slaves to Fear—fear of war, fear of poverty, fear of random terrorism, or suddenly getting locked up in a military detention camp on vague charges of being a Terrorist sympathizer." HST
Yup. All silent from them although Russian media is perpetuating the voter fraud narrative.
Erdogan and MBS have both congratulated Biden though. That won’t have gone down well. And Biden has already had conversations with many world leaders.
