I must admit I was quite impressed with McConnell’s statement.

I’m not convinced it was hypocritical. He clearly felt - rightly or wrongly - that it was constitutionally impossible to convict a former president and to be honest that was my view too. But he made it clear that he felt Trump had behaved appallingly.chkai chgout wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 4:43 pm@I must admit I was quite impressed with McConnell’s statement.

Hahahahaha, where a mirror for light is quite known, you can do the same with writing. Just confront those ignorant and selfish convoluted's and their likes with the same proclamation, though then applied to their hero. Good night
The problem is a little: "When convicted, what would be the punishment". Trumpie openly stated, he could not be convicted by the Senate, once out of office, so he himself opened the door towards criminal and civil court cases.scobienz wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 7:13 pmI’m not convinced it was hypocritical. Now we see, Trumpie goes in full McConnell attack mode, which might lead into a GOP division. That'll be bad for the GOP, and its future, for both the short and long term GOP future. Fortunately, it'll be good for Democrat's future, even when they would lose the absolute majority in Congress.
Highly depends on how you look at these things. The moment somebody considers some 30-40% of the civilians in a country/continent as second class citizens, I do think, your mental state does not go further than a 10-year-old. As such, Trumpie

Now even one of Trumpies' biggest supporters starts whining about Social Media vitriol.

Trump’s grift on his gullible follows continues. Check out this room rate guide for his hotel in D.C. for March. The usual price is $400-550 a night. For some reason it leaps to over $1200 a night on March 4 and March 4.
Why is that?
Could it be related to the fact that the latest QAnon conspiracy theory is telling the idiots he will return to Washington in March 4 to resume the Presidency?

Considering others high end hotels rates are pretty much stable for said dates, even our residents Trumpers should agree with Scoobie

If I were the manager of said hotel I'd do exactly the same thing. You still have to pay the wages and if people are prepared to pay more for a fantasy then cést la vie.scobienz wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 1:37 pmTrump’s grift on his gullible follows continues. It may also dissuade some of your regulars from being around the whackos.
What's your point?
There have been numerous US led attacks on Syria during the past few years, including many ordered by the last administration including Kasham and leading the coordinated response to the Douma chemical attack.
It's a myth that Trump ended US involvement in overseas conflicts.
