CNN seems to be developing a narrative that any social media that's not Twitter, Facebook or YouTube is good for one thing only: misinformation. This comes after Twitter-like app "Parler hit the number one spot overall on Apple's US App Store" last week.
I see great value in less mainstream social media, like Khmer440, and find a lot of good (and often factual) information here. And to set the record straight, CNN, there's a whole lot of crazy stuff on Twitter, Youtube and Facebook, every single day.

Twitter reminds me of the kids that used to hold the school bully’s coat….techietraveller84 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 15, 2020 10:13 amCNN seems to be developing a narrative that any social media that's not Twitter, Facebook or YouTube is good for one thing only: misinformation. You forgot the 'far right' part of the narrative.
None but ourselves can free our mind.
Yeah, all channels, not performing serious fact check, provide the truth. Sure. Despite the lack of fact checks, I feel like I get much better info about what's happening on the ground in Cambodia from this and similar sites than I get from Twitter and its big tech buddies.
