Suez Canal blocked by huge container ship
This vessel weighs in at 220,000 tonnes and 400m long, it will not be going anywhere for a while.
After seeing the dick pattern, something really serious has happened here. Who else thinks this could be deliberate?

"The Week" says boat stuck in Suez is costing $400,000,000 per hour.
Covid be damned. That would pay to fly all CEO and K440 readers to Egypt to tell them how to solve the problem. Solved. We'd get a nice bit of pocket change, and I could finally go see the pyramids and Luxor too! Just waiting for the call.

I think if it was deliberate we wouldn’t see all the extra squiggly movesDylan Quint wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 2:11 pmThis vessel weighs in at 220,000 tonnes and 400m long, it will not be going anywhere for a while.

The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.

I don't see how it could be anything like that much unless there were about 500 huge container ships passing through every hour.Guest9999 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 7:41 am"The Week" says boat stuck in Suez is costing $400,000,000 per hour.

Think I read 150 a day somewhere. Still could be significant with the up and downstream effects.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 4:03 pmI don't see how it could be anything like that much unless there were about 500 huge container ships passing through every hour.Guest9999 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 7:41 am"The Week" says boat stuck in Suez is costing $400,000,000 per hour.
Was it the Jewry again?
It’s much fewer than that. It’s around 19,000 a year so only 50 a day.
Not the most absurd suggestion ever, given there was a failed attempt to destroy a ship in the canal in 2013.

The damage and insurance claims piling up now will probably take a decade to sort out. The stranded ship holds 20K containers each likely with at least a few policies involved. And then there are some 4-5 hundred more ships and rising. The canal has a strict policy that the captain is responsible for any damage and disturbance, even if pilots were being used. What a mess...
What about sinking it?
A couple of torpedoes or sea mines should do it.

If sunk, it would only be lowered by a couple of meters, making it harder to get rid off...Ever stuck wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 5:30 pmWhat about sinking it?

I believe nuking it would work well. It would have the added benefit of irradiating those trouble making fucks' in the Middle East.Ever stuck wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 5:30 pmWhat about sinking it?
