What a stupid heading.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Ha, dire. One of those posters where their username defines them.
I see your point. Tug boat pilots, in this new heat, are twice as thirsty. The water portion in their beverage of choice, smuggled in, evaporates twice as fast, so their drink is twice as strong. As a result, their focus, eyesight, and eye-hand co-ordination is twice as bad.
Question is, do you think this will happen twice as often in the future?
(P.S. Eye like your thread title!)

as far as i can see its still there https://www.vesselfinder.com/?imo=9811000
cant see that it has move in the past few hours even though it says "under way".
wondering how much this is costing the world per hour and how much it will eventually end up costing you and I. any wild guesses?
twice as often? cant recall it ever happening in the past but could be wrong. vague something about a bombed ship.
perhaps they could nuke this one to get it out of the way fast

You have to wonder about the psyche of someone who decides his user name is sumdumbkunt.Dylan Quint wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 10:12 amHa, dire. One of those posters where their username defines them.
Would anyone like to bet on his nationality?

Would think they will start to unload it soon to lessen the draught. May have been the sandstorm they had recently, low viz and all that. Hope my fucking ball joints I'm waiting for are not on it.
Think I'd ditch the Tonka and start with 3 sticks of power gel.

How strong is the anchor winch? Lower the anchor on the open water side. and haul it up onto the far bank. Embed it solidly about 300 meters BEHIND the ship, back from whence it came. Winch it in that directing with full throttles reverse and full rudders to straighten it. Simple. (Minor challenge embedding the anchor sufficiently, and having a strong enough chain and winch, but that's what I'd try first. ... WELL before I decided to dig a new channel allowing the boat to continue straight on.)
