North Korea on defence mode
North Korea on defence mode
North Korea says it's on defence mode, not seeking war with anyone
North Korea is closer to Cambodia as one can wish. In case of an all out war in the south china sea even Cambodia will become a War Theater.
While western media without exception paints North Korea as the war mongering culprit it is worth to take a closer look to why North Korea is so ambitious on it's nuclear program.
Kim Jong Un's latest statement is straight forward.
Not need to read much here, the video speaks for itself.

Fucking goofball always trying to make himself seem relevant. The amount of bullshit going on over the last few years and rocket man is still ranting on with the same crap.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

Kim's North Korea is a threat only to the western Military Exports and that's why the embargo can never be lifted. Once the alliance with Iran, Afghanistan, Cuba and Venezuela and perhaps even Myanmar is established NK will have enough leverage. Sofar NK has done quite well in keeping the US at bay. Except for the annual "Invade NK Games with the South Korean Army" nothing much has happened over the past 2 decades. If it wasn't for the US sanctions people in NK wouldn't starve to death. Perhaps it's time to give up some prejudice ? I think it would be fun to run a "Go Fund NK" initiative and hand over the cash to the NK Embassy in Phnom Penh. With a bit of P.R. one could be famous for a moment and dead the next.
The military technology of the DPR Korea is outdated and unreliable and no halfway decent military is interested in buying it. They cannot compete with the American weapons industry.Expatissimo wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 12:05 pmKim's North Korea is a threat only to the western Military Exports and that's why the embargo can never be lifted. The sanctions do not prevent the DPR Korea from importing food and in fact the US and Republic of Korea have donated food to the DPR Korea in the past.
People in the DPR Korea are not starving like they were in the 90s and the economy has been developing steadily in the last decade.
The US couldn't defeat the Taliban with it's high tech weapons of which they left a lot behind.
The determination of the North Koreans is perhaps (we don't know yet) equal to that of the Taliban so all the high tech weapons could be meaningless unless you want to turn the entire north korean landmass into a nuclear wasteland. The US is the only country in the world that has experience droping nukes on other people like Japanese (Nagasaki and Hiroshima) and i am certain they would do it again.
Now of course there is always more high tech in the pipeline:
Air Force drops new 5,000-pound bunker-buster bomb for first time
The Air Force is testing a mammoth, 5,000-pound bomb designed using advanced modeling to increase its impact in reaching and destroying hardened underground facilities the likes of North Korea’s ballistic-missile and nuclear-weapons facilities.
unquote: The Bunkerbuster that was used by the US on it's assault on Baghdad left a mass of Women and children dead. Great achievement. The Mother of all Bombs used on the Tora Tora Caves in Afghanistan to smoke out Bin Laden never reached Bin Laden. So far to the intelligence.

You claimed that the DPR Korea 'threatens US military exports.' They do not threaten US military exports because the purchasers of US military equipment do not want buy shoddy equipment from a third rate army. If anything the US is able to sell more of their military equipment to the Republic of Korea because of the tension between North and South Korea.
There are enough nations that would like to buy ready made nukes. Iran for example.

Seems you may be correct. With all the attention on Ukraine and prior to that Ethiopia, North Korea appears to be feeling a little left out.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 11:58 pmFucking goofball always trying to make himself seem relevant.

One thing to admire about North Korea, their ability to generate bizarre rules and regulations appears limitless.
The latest, all North Korean girls called Ju Ae have to change their names as it appears Kim Jong-un's daughter is named such. Perhaps he is easily confused and this would simplify things.

RFA just makes stuff up about the DPR Korea out of thin air. They've written all sorts of nonsense about the country for years. They cite two anonymous sources as evidence.
I don't believe this report.

There is increasing international concern regarding the food crisis in North Korea. It was publicly raised by the North Korean government in 2021, however reportedly there are signs the situation has deteriorated.
The lack of reliable data from North Korea always presents a challenge, particularly with a number of international health NGOs yet to be readmitted post-COVID, yet there appears broad consensus the situation is grim.
