Where does one start with this utter nonsense?
Vlad, let’s start with the obvious point about being motivated by money and corruption.
Your beloved Putin is worth an estimated $200bn according to Forbes and yet he has never run any businesses, inherited no family wealth and has instead been a career public official in the old KGB. His state salary is $140,000.
What’s your theory on that?

It's not like you to present only half a picture HPUM, not with your renowned commitment to full and frank disclosure.
For context, now let's look at performance up to the middle of 2022, the latest that a full set of figures for all this can be obtained,
GDP: $1,650bn, now from $2113bn nine years ago
GDP per person, $10,500 . . down from $14800
Inflation: 11.8%, although admittedly that has now plummeted to less than 3% currently, largely because sanctions has effectively crippled their economy
Forex Reserves: $580bn (not bad)
National debt: 13.4%
Pensions . . this is a tough one, as your graphic doesnt talk in time. However, the latest figure is 5180 per month, which is around $60
Average income: c100,000 rubles a month, or around $1100
As the rest of the world weans itself off Russian gas and oil - something it has done relatively well in recent months - these figures will get worse.

Prigozhin capturing Voronezh-45 nuclear storage facility in Russia may be part of the key to the lock that can help explain his decision to suddenly and bizarrely 'end' the coup which was succeeding spectacularly. I've been trying to figure how Prigozhin can guarantee his own survival after this. This may be it. Moscow may never have been his final destination. Vornezh-45 was. Once he got the nukes, he ended the operations because all objectives were achieved. https://twitter.com/igorsushko/status/ ... 919926785?

Lukaschenko says he is not in Belarus.
Firstly, this film was not ‘last night’. It was filmed Saturday night. He has not been seen since then, no made any statements. That’s telling in itself.
Secondly, if this is the quality of the source where you get information that explains a lot. Lancaster has been widely discredited as a crank but even without that I gave up watching after 90 seconds when he falsely claimed Prigozhin had met with Lukashenko (there is no evidence of that) and that as a result of that meeting the Russian Defence Minister and The Head of the Armed Forces would be ‘at least’ resigning.
Again. Totally unsubstantiated.

The Ukraine/Belarus border region is one of the biggest swamps in Europe. A bottomless bog with very few roads of any sort, and even fewer capable of taking the weight of an armored vehicle.Hot_Pink_Urinal_Mint wrote: ↑Sun Jun 25, 2023 5:19 pm
Only around a 1000 went to Rostov, Where are the other 90,000?
I agree with you in regards to being able to operate legally in Belarus - they can continue operations without having to contract with the Russian MOD
This terrain feature is one of the reasons why the initial Russian attack on Kyiv failed — the Ukrainians were able to focus their defense on those few routes the attack was confined to. Hence the 40 mile convoy….

It’s not easy to keep up. All the news come from Prigozhin himself, Kremlin and Russian state media. All are notorious liars.

If Prigazhin is in fact in Belarus, he's fucked, if he hasn't been liquidated already. Dick move going to a country run by Putin's biggest fan-boy.
The bizarre thing is that the entire world fully expects Putin to have him killed. If he doesn’t do it, Putin will be seen as weak and he likely knows it will encourage others.Dylan Quint wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 12:42 pmIf Prigazhin is in fact in Belarus, he's fucked, if he hasn't been liquidated already. Quite extraordinary. I can only assume Prigozhin was told quite clearly - it’s gonna happen. Get used to it: it’s either you or your family.

ISW are forwarding the theory that Putin needs to discredit Prigozhin, as killing him would both give validity to his complaints and make him a martyr.Dylan Quint wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 12:42 pmIf Prigazhin is in fact in Belarus, he's fucked, if he hasn't been liquidated already. Finally happened. Ruble just sank below a penny.
Freedom is not a state. It is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau.. Freedom is a continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society.-John Lewis
