No, they did put up the deaths. But they didn't put up the 'new cases' .
I saw them and you would have, too, if you had really seen them.
Again, where are your links? Where is your proof of your opinion?

Wtf are you taking about. I just put up the link showing the new cases information.
Furthermore, I said exactly the same as you: worldometer put up the deaths but omitted the new cases.
Worldometer uses every country’s govt figures for its site.

But why are these figures 'missing'? Why are the 'figures' jumping up, but the JHU figures and the 'worldometer figures' not showing this? These are supposed to be the official figures, but they clearly cannot make up their own minds which 'figures' are real. I do not trust 'official government figures' simply because of this reason.Guest 1111 wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 5:02 pmIt would have taken you literally seconds to find it yourself.springrain wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 4:41 pmOK, thanks for that. Do you have a link or some other proof of what you say? You see, the 'new cases' figures have been rising, typically, by between 300 - 800 per day, so I find it odd that you 'from memory' claim it is well over the thousands.
A link would be nice. A link to your 'claim'.

These figures have been released daily for many weeks. They are the source that worldometer uses.
For some reason worldometer missed this figure yesterday but included the deaths.
We will see when 'worldometers' is back up and the 'official' figures are 'adjusted'.
And I want to know what 'for some reason' is.
Let's hope for more (in)sanity tomorrow.
It's all so easy if they try: Tell us the truth & there should be no discrepancy. But, instead, we get deliberation & a mishmash of 'truth' - a deliberate obfuscation of the 'facts'.
That is to nobody's advantage.
Worldometers is back up: kindly look at 'yesterday's figures':

Springrain. You are better than this.
The figures are not jumping up. 2400ish is one of the lowest new cases figures for two months and continues the downward slope.
I’m struggling to understand your obtuseness.

Perhaps worldometer is run by the global elite lizard people. I dunno.
Or maybe it’s just an error.

I think all the discrepancy in figures might well be an error.
I don't think I am better than anything, mate.
I just want to try to understand.
I'm probably an idiot.
But even an idiot has a right to know what is going on.

This from the bbc for the uk.
Similar graphs I am sure for most western countries.
Let the virus rage, don't bother to treat the over 80 just make them as comfortable as possible, wear mask , stay away from crowded areas and try to get back to a normal life.
How many died in in the pandemic of 1919/20 ? Something like 20million and we are nowhere near that number. Let the old n weak die to make the rest stronger. Survival of the fittest at its basics.
Bored n pissed,. Thats my excuse.

Yep, though the perceived value of a human life has increased tremendously since 80 years ago.horace wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 10:00 pm....

Can you imagine how nowadays the world would react, when the number of soldier casualties in a war would be according the WW2 figures ?

Here's an update on the British pilot in HCM
Doctors at a leading hospital in Ho Chi Minh City will try their best to save a British COVID-19 patient who is still in a critical condition after over two months of hospitalization, the institution's director said on Friday.
Dr. Nguyen Tri Thuc, director of Cho Ray Hospital, affirmed that his doctors will make as much effort as possible to treat the British patient, also known as patient No .91.
He was transferred to Cho Ray, considered the best general hospital in the city and southern Vietnam, on Friday afternoon.
The 43-year-old Briton, who is a Vietnam Airlines pilot, was moved to Cho Ray Hospital’s intensive care unit from the Ho Chi Minh City Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
The patient had tested negative for the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19 for six consecutive times as of Friday morning.
He has been treated for the viral disease for 66 days, including 46 days on life support in the form of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) as 90 percent of his lungs had condensed.
A recent CT scan showed that about 20-30 percent of his lungs have recovered and their function has also improved considerably. His pulse and blood pressure are stable.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health considered a lung transplant as a last resort on the British man.

Up the workers!
^^^ That British pilot would have died a long time ago, if he had been in the NHS's care instead. I have mixed feelings about that, TBH.

Not being cynical but I assume that he had insurance and therefore the hospitals are earning an income from keeping him alive!
Would/ do the local population receive the same attention?
