The War of the Viri
When two viruses meet
The world has recently had to cope with a biological virus which has come up against the Keynesian economic system: otherwise known as the Keynesian Trojan Horse. Everyday, when the central banks roll-up their shutters and switch-on their computers, they click on their Zombie Master programs and watch while all the other banks report in.

Whilst almost the whole economic world is in lockdown fighting the Corona virus and waiting to reboot, we should be taking the same opportunity to fight against the Keynesian virus.
All financial computers should be put into immediate lockdown and only rebooted after 60 seconds. When they are switched back on the world has two choices;
1. Switch them on and run a series of 'fixes' which it hopes will be enough to root out the virus and maintain the integrity of the system.
2. Pop in the system disk and completely erase the operating system and install a fresh copy.
Experience has repeatedly shown us that, for any serious infection, the later option is by far the best choice.

It’s odd that that forum’s most passionate socialist favours the Austrian school of economics - most famously followed by Mrs Thatcher - over Keynes, which has been the dominant creed for every Labour government in U.K. history.

Vladimir may be permanently banned, but it appears Kung-fu Fighter and Londo have expanded to fill his cavernous void with trite anti capatilist slogans and vapid baiting and attacks. Glory be.
Well, just don't be one of those post modern narcissists, who with one hand likes to copy American Rock icons

Ha ha, you obviously have little sense of the real situation. Gold is as good as useless as a commodity these days, compared to oil, cobber, zinc. The US dollar will be going nowhere, but hopefully you will.

^ So that's why the Russians and Chinese have been busy buying up as much gold as they can lay their hands on and formed BRICS: because gold is worthless.
:headslap:
If you don't like it, I suggest you take a position in Bitcoin.

Should a lefty like you be pushing Bitcoin so much? Or is your endgame on this forum to promote Bitcoin?kungfufighter wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 7:34 am^ So that's why the Russians and Chinese have been busy buying up as much gold as they can lay their hands on and formed BRICS: because gold is worthless.

^ I'm not a 'lefty'. I supported Corbyn as the only man that seemed to offer a way out of the madness. Did you watch the Bitcoin power usage video? The idea of the amount of power that gets used up by the bankers, lawyers, government departments etc - institutions of middlemen scamming everyone with their shell game, is truly loathsome and always has been.
So yes, I promote Bitcoin as a forward thinking technology that can help us out of this mess. If you want to invest in crashed stocks to make an instant profit at someone else's expense, that's up to you. I personally would prefer to invest in a decentralised digital currency and hope it takes off. I'm not suggesting everyone take out a second mortgage and put it all into Bitcoin though. Some of it should be in gold.

So you are basically a capitalist who supports a currency that wastes a huge amount of power and pays dividends for no effort to elite investors, but all the other policies you support are far left? A man of many contradictions.
