I am thinking of going next week. With all the rain we've had lately I am thinking now is a good time to see the waterfalls in all their glory.
Any thoughts form more seasoned travelers of the Kingdom?
Thanks in advance for any info and advice you can give.

Go for it but avoid the weekend. Elephant valley for a bit of eco-tourism too. Be prepared to be shocked by all the deforestation and rubber plantations though. Follow the "old death" highway 76 all the way up to Ban Lung if you haven't been up there.
k440, something to do when you're pissed.
Why would you avoid the weekend? you know there are no tourists here now?

Khmers love the waterfall and at the weekend and holidays the place can get busy and khmers being Khmers they leave a lot of rubbish around.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 4:26 pmWhy would you avoid the weekend? you know there are no tourists here now?

Great tips. yeah we were thinking of leaving Sunday, Elephant trek Monday and then waterfall on Tuesday and back in PP by Wednesday.
How did this trip go? Any pics, how did you get there, take a van or private vehicle. Any tips post trip? Thinking about doing the same journey.
Thanks,
Ed
We went on a weekend in July and it was very busy. I knew it would be but that's just how it fitted with the rest of our trip and couldn't be helped.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 4:26 pmWhy would you avoid the weekend? you know there are no tourists here now?
My big tip would be to take your own lunch with you, a roast chicken, sandwiches or whatever. The food sold there is pretty awful, also expensive. Cold beer is available for a reasonable price.

Stunning waterfalls visited during the dry season but still very nice. You will find Little or no tourists here, only Cambodians people.
