Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

I like where you're going with this little Missy but heres the thing. Wheres the rest of this turd? Did they run out of shit stackers? Not enough cows in this country you say? I smell some major bullshit here. Some kind of Deep Moo conspirancy.

Freedom is not a state. It is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau.. Freedom is a continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society.-John Lewis

Given this some thought and a damn good subject. Comments belong to posters while threads belong to the forum. As open source and inclusive as possible as it promotes more participation and hopefully more stimulating conversations, Mehscobienz wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2020 1:51 pmchubacca wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2020 1:31 pm
This thread belongs to Sonic, so don't want to criticise his take on what the thread is about, only that I don't get the humour as much as he probably does. I do admit to opening it up to be amused, only to be disappointed most of the time. But yes, if we contributed, then perhaps it could change..........
I disagree that the thread belongs to Sonic. The thread belongs to everyone and is as good or bad as the contributions made.

Well, strictly speaking neither of us is right. Every single post, every word, every punctuation mark on here is the property of 440. We all agree to that when we sign up.
While this is technically true, nothing is set in stone. If you feel that a thread is moving in the wrong direction the best way to handle that is to reach out to me with a private message and discuss it.

I was speaking strictly in the sense of the topic at hand which was more in the vein of how posters regard threads they have started. Is it their thread? Nothing at all to do with property rights, intellectual rights, et al. A couple years before i joined this board I was on a BKK-REAP flight with my laptop open to pictures of a recent Laos trip by PHKRichards. Great Laos shots. The Dutch passenger next to me was a professional photographer. He looked at the photos and said," I know him and he is NOT a professional photographer." Photo rights? intellecttual rights? I ain't even gettin' involved in that big ugly mess.

Why is there nobody in opposition in the Anglosphere worthy of being lampooned? Doesn't bode well for them if they're so dull.
I don't even know who the opposition leader in Australia is.

Do Ethiopian lives matter?
More than 150 people have been killed in riots in Ethiopia in recent days. Many by security forces. Why isn't their outrage around the globe about this? I looked at the Black Lives Matter twitter account and couldn't find a single word about it. Nothing on Raz Simone's twitter feed either.
Is it because white people aren't doing the killing? They can't blame long-dead white people either as Ethiopia was never colonised by Europeans.
However, I also read that obesity levels have been rising in Ethiopia for several decades. I'm pretty sure that there's a white guy we can pin this on.
