Update on prices:
Gold $1899.60
Silver $23.02
Bitcoin $9630

Seems they all went up at a similar ratio.
Yeah. The Russians have just OKed Bitcoin and other cryptos for investment and transactions. Although, it is quite a conflicting report, as they seemed to contradict themselves from one paragraph to the next.
Also, the US and EU have almost confirmed more trillions in stimulus.
I guess the best indicator will be the DXY and the 10yr bond rate.

Although, it is an interesting development, I doubt that many banks will take them up on the offer. The real reason for the rise may well be the amount of Bitcoin derivatives being traded with the likes of BAKKT. I also expect people are pulling out of stocks and investing in gold etc in expectation of buying stocks cheaper so they can cash in when the fed pumps trillions of dollars more stimulus into the markets in August.
Manipulated market.

It doesn't stop me from dollar cost averaging with a percentage of my income each month.

i never did believe in bitcoin as a reliable schelling point to park capital.
still don't.
from day 1 it was rogue money vehicle - and when shit hits the fan, you better know idiots which to unload your bags upon, but by then it'll be too late...

Quantity of money that is slopping around the world.

How much of this will flow into bitcoin over the coming decades?

If even 5% of wealth flows into BTC, what will the price of 1 Bitcoin be at that point in time?

Bitcoin users best skill is spending their days online, searching, creating and sharing hundreds of memes, spurious articles (usually published only in cryto journals) and bonafides to then share on forums like this, in a desperate attempt to find other fools to get into it to drive up the price.

It reminds me of John MacAfee's claim in 2017 that if the bitcoin price didn't reach $500,000 by 2020, he would eat his own dick.

It hasnt. And he hasn't.

Instead, he admitted in an interview last month that it was all nonsense that he made such predictions simply to lure other people in.

tho there is some sense in the propaganda.

nothing ever succeeds without effective propaganda....

Enough is enough. kungfufighter is only interested in one-way conversations and wants to turn every thread into a Bitcoin thread but doesn't want to have real discussions about it, only copy paste articles and videos. He has been permanently banned.
