I have been a good friend of nicks since we were 11 years old this accident has devastated so many of us a very popular ,funny loved man,
Did you really need to be so heartless.
Did you really need to be so heartless.
Sorry to hear about your friend.
I spent over a year around that area and with the rains and road conditions this awful type of accident can occur even to a very skilled and careful operator.
This is one reason I decided to just give my Honda to my Khmer wife and not take the risks. He might of known that road like the back of his hand.
Rest in Peace.
Far to young to pass away.

Laud really nice of you to write this about my brother, I hope nothing bad happens to a member of you family. Was there any reason to comment about this when you don’t even know him. Spineless and poisonous people like you deserve what you get. I’m sure one day you’ll get yours. RIP my brother Nick

He said he was a neighbour and that he drove like a manic. Knows him well enough I suspect ( I didn't) .Dannyspud77 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 05, 2020 6:27 pmLaud really nice of you to write this about my brother, I hope nothing bad happens to a member of you family. k440, something to do when you're pissed.
He was known as Nasty Nick in both Phnom Penh and Kampot. Did he go by the same nickname in England? How did he get it?
Cambodian nickname. Given affectionately.
RIP anyway even if he was nasty and bad at driving it doesn't matter. 48 is no age to go.

Spineless for stating a fact as I saw it?
What about the fact that he boasted of how fast he drove from PP to Kampot each time and the number of flat tyres/blowouts he got as a result. What about the fact that he would get drunk and drive home fast and reckless in Kampot down horrible dirt roads that were unlit?
When I texted my mate, who knew Nick pretty well informing him of Nicks death in a moto accident his response was .. "No surprise".
Nasty Nick was a decent guy, I drank with him many times, but he was a road accident waiting to happen.
One does not become a saint just by dying. Nasty Nick was just a flawed guy like the rest of us.
Wishing death to a member of my family just because I said he drove like a maniac and died as a result ... who is really the poisonous and truly evil one????
I certainly did not wish any accident or death on Nick, he did not deserve it, but he did not help his chances of long term survival the way he drove and rode.
Looks like Nasty Nick had a brother who should be called Evil Dan.
