I arrived in PP last night
@v12 is on a wind up as usual.
If anyone needs to turn their ordinary visa into a 3/6/12 month biz visa I will share my visa agent's details no worries. 12 month extension is $299 plus either an employment letter or $40 tea money. It's the tea money for me.

Look at that, another populist anwer.
Any idea what the purpose of the Foreigner Registration System is (without that, no visa extension) ?
Cambodia is currently cracking down on all those hero's with teamoney visas and kick them out.
Just read the threads at K440 about this and you'll see. Or just continue to be a populist hero ......
Did you ever watch, how a Cambodian police raid goes ? It's actually quite funny. Imagine a cartoon, with a bunch of police guys jumping all together on one suspect. Saw that happen 2 times. My family lives at a very popular corner for those police actions
See you in prison. Good luck.
v12 every single one of your posts is written to discourage other people coming to Cambodia, nothing more than that. That's all you do, muddy the waters, give false information, make things seem impossibly hard to do. Every single one of your posts is to that end.
On the flip side there are those like me sharing what we know and what we have experienced with this community, the info we have, trying to help people get in and succeed here. I thought you were a harmless WUM but actually you are fucking with peoples' lives. A lot of people have good reasons to come to Cambodia, who are you to judge?

Readers will do good to discard any rumors spread here on the thread about embassies handing out visa on other grounds than legit reasons and in accordance with the law - no matters what some more or better less creative mind cooks up. My visa was processed within less than 45 minutes.
The companies and influence talk has been, in the meanwhile, reduced to a confirmed invitation processed in PP.
Finally, according to official sources dark vader is retired, reality rules.

Rumours? It's a first hand account. There are no invalid reasons for obtaining an ordinary visa, extending it of course requires an agencies handy work which is the norm. It's a shame you don't expand on anything you're saying.visiting-again wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 3:56 pmReaders will do good to discard any rumors spread here on the thread about embassies handing out visa on other grounds than legit reasons and in accordance with the law - no matters what some more or better less creative mind cooks up. Guest - it makes perfectly sense to read and trying to understand a post before posting replies that are totally off the mark.
I referred to embassies (singular: embassy), speak Cambodian diplomatic representations that include a consular department. Not to the local immigration.
So, yes money, on top of the usual extra charge, might help with immigration. There is no evidence that embassies do the same as had been suggested earlier. Such rumors might mislead readers and end up with a black listing.

Just my testimony and subsequent presence in Cambodia which apparently is not valid on this forum if you personally don't agree with it.visistor-again wrote: ↑Sat Sep 12, 2020 12:20 pmThere is no evidence that embassies do the same as had been suggested earlier. I don't quite think you understand what's actually being discussed here. There are no grounds for being blacklisted on the back of trying to get an ordinary visa via an embassy. According to the OP which is the most recent account of entering cambodia, he was not required to provide anything to suggest he owned NAGA. He then (like has been the norm for years) extended his ordinary visa via an agent for extension fee plus agency handling fee.visistor-again wrote: ↑Sat Sep 12, 2020 12:20 pmGuest - it makes perfectly sense to read and trying to understand a post before posting replies that are totally off the mark.

I'm not sure what people are gaining via scaremongering, blacklists and jail? Behave.
I recently extended my one month E/Ordinary visa in person by visiting the immigration office near the airport. It cost $100 for a six month extension.... Easy peasy..... Why are people paying agents hundreds of dollars to do this for them??
Personally I don't wish to deal with the admin. I just want to pay somebody to go away and come back with the job done.
I could save a lot by fixing my own car too but I choose not to because I simply don't wish to do it. I just pay the mechanic and let him do his job while I spend my time how I would like to. There is a whole list of professional I use to carry out tasks in my life that technically I could manage to do myself and save the money.

Guest - please read what I wrote and stop bullshitting red herrings. I referred to an earlier post about issuing visas at an embassy. You correct me repeatedly about things i never wrote or referred too.
Offering a bribe at an embassy for a granting visa is a criminal offense which will get you blacklisted. If you know better - fine.
Again guest - I referred to an earlier post about embassies, try to understand that.

No idea, I haven't paid for a visa extension in more than a decade. The people in the office do that stuff.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
I always apply for my EOS directly at the DoI Visa Office, have done for several years. $180 for 12 months, 6 months is only $90 so you obviously paid them a tip.
What type of Extension did you apply for and what supporting documentation were you required to provide?
Many people use agents because they either don't even know that it is possible to apply directly at the DoI, because they are unable to provide the necessary supporting documentation required, because they don't live in PP, or they just like the ease of paying well above the official fees to have someone else deal with the hassle of doing it.
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
So the true cost of the 12 month visa is only $180. I never knew that. Lucky lucky must be rich by now.
