It’s not looking good for Trump. Today Georgia was announced for Biden, taking him to 306. His lawyers withdrew his case in Arizona, and judges threw out Trump campaign actions in Pennsylvania and Michigan.
His big city law firms are pulling away from acting for him and meanwhile he hasn’t been seen in a week, preferring to sit sulking and rage tweeting nonsense from the White House.
What an absolute clusterfuck.
Not been seen, does not imply, he is sitting dead down.
Just expect him to play his chess game. Think about the Trump loyalists putting everywhere at relevant locations and manipulating the public opinion.
The latter is still important, because the electoral votes in each state do traditionally go to the state winner, however, there have been individual electoral voters who did vote deviating from that mechanism. Looks to me, Trump is working on that, so once a significant number of republican electoral voters decide to vote deviating from the state winner, it still can get become challenging again.
And, with 75% of the brainless Republican voters still thinking, the elections are "stolen" due to Democrats' fraud, there will be a lot of public pressure on Republican electoral voters in the Democrats' votes majority states to votes against the state winner mechanism.
Not to forget, all the Republican electoral voters need to fight for their own future to. Given the slaughter mentality of the current Trump administration and its Republican allies, these Republican electoral voters certainly may fear for their future political career, when not complying with Trumps' requests.
And, we should not forget, Trump has huge interest to stay in the White House, just to avoid him ending up in prison, right after stepping down on Jan 20, 2021.
