GIrl I been seeing was Gangraped
There's this girl I met a long time ago. We've been on and off mainly because this girl does stupid stuff. She's a cute girl and she goes around at night after I repeatedly told her to stop as we all know what it's like here at 2am. I have been telling her to stop coming around to my place because I can't handle the stress of her and I been just tired and upset with her. The other night she came by and I told her to leave but she stayed longer. I told her it's late and you need to take your bicycle and go home as the later you stay the more dangerous it is. I also refused to give her any money as I think she assumes I'll give her money if she comes over. Instead of going straight home, she takes her bicycle along the river and apparently down 60 road where 3 guys with motorbikes were parked and drinking. She says they stopped her and told her to take care of them. After they threatened to kill her she allowed them to do their thing. I saw her the next day, she doesn't have any bruises and she looks normal. I know Cambodians are small guys and I guess if she just let them do their thing to her she wouldn't be badly hurt. She still has her phone and purse.
I'm not sure if she's lying to me or if this really did happen. I know this is a horrible thing but I have such a hard time being nice to her and consoling her. I know rape is a big problem here and 60 road would be a place to do it as its dark and lots of bushes. I feel like an asshole as I don't want to see her. What do you guys think?

What input are you expecting from us here?
Encourage her to report it to the police.

I'm not so sure about this "Cambodians being small guys" either. That's just an assumption.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
she should go to the police. take her there and see how she reacts
OP is talking BS, as there is no road 60 anywhere near the river. If he means road 6, did she go over the bridge into Chrouy Changva? OP would surely have mentioned that, and btw do you make such a typo twice?
Also, if he thinks Cambodians in general are 'small guys' he probably needs some spectacles.

I think he might have meant 60 Meter road which is the local name for Hun Sen Boulevard. It's possible to go down the riverside and then eventually that road but unless you live in Takmao I can't see why anyone would do so.frigidaire wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 6:36 pmOP is talking BS, as there is no road 60 anywhere near the river. There should be a Street 60 somewhere around Tuol Sangke north of the Chruoy Changva Bridge but I can't find it.

There is the road they call plov hocsap met not so far from the river.
I think he's probably talking about Siem Reap. If you follow the river in the general direction of Angkor Wat you have to come up onto the bridge on Road 60.

Considering the background it seems like a ruse anyway.

Don't involve the police. This is Cambodia and street justice is the way we handle things here.
Round up some of your mates and hire some local little guy tuk tuks. Head over to the area at 2 AM and hunt out those guilty.

And if you see anyone sitting around drinking beer just beat the crap out of them. Even if it wasn't them they've probably done something else recently to warrant the beating.

i wouldn't be surprised if she was lying. If was me I would take her to the police station to report, otherwise, she will think she can continue to lie to you and you do nothing,
Seeing as the girl didnt report this to police and wants us to sort it, lets start with a pic of the girl and her age.
