I want to educate my child at PP or Kampot. How much is it?
Hi
How much is private education in Phnom Penh, Kampot for grades 1-12?
How does this compare with regular education, if any?
Does anyone know how much it will cost to teach a child a year of English tuition at PP or Kampot?
Any teacher here that can help me our here?
Thanks!

Do you mean supplementary English classes or a comprehensive education with a range of subjects?
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
There’s only one good western school in Kampot, Singapore Amicus, where most barang send their kids. Not sure in price.

Honestly the price range is massive.
But with education in Cambodia you get what you pay for, there are no bargains.
And also sometimes you don't get what you pay for, there are no refunds.
I suggest you give us a budget and most likely someone can recommend something decent for that budget.

What if he just wants the best? What does that cost?

ISPP is $20,000+ a year.

What about english classes - 2-4 hours per week for a khmer student?
For example, I have a friend with a child who I want to educate with a second language. Chinese or English. How much might that cost ?

SISC (Southbridge) is pretty similar in price. Impressive complex.
What’s the standard like. Similar?

I don't really know, those places are well out of my budget with a teenage kid and my stagnating salary. I did a short stint at Northbridge about 15 years ago and it was very different to anywhere in the city at the time. You'd be driving through slums and then that lumpy toll road past empty overgrown lots and then next thing it looked like you were in Florida with watered lawns and palm trees and tennis courts and a pool. I found it quite disconcerting at the time.
Full time programs for kids are expensive here, don't get them confused with those language centers/ supplementary schools that a lot of local kids who can afford it go for lessons outside their state school.

SISC is nowhere near the ISPP price range! SISC is much more affordable.
Both schools have their fees listed on their websites...huge difference in prices.
But yes, SISC is a lovely campus and a fantastic school.

I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
Thanks.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 12:06 amI don't really know, those places are well out of my budget with a teenage kid and my stagnating salary. Any ideas roughly what these 'language centers/supplementary schools might cost per year?
