I'm not convinced by photos of a foreigner's dirty feet. I've seen hundreds (thousands?) of hotel reviews over the years, and I've never seen a guest take a photo of his own dirty feet as evidence of a dirty hotel.
They probably assume your feet were dirty when you arrived. Especially if you came from Australia. There's a lot of dirt in Australia, especially Western Australia, and lots of dudes work in mines in Australia or offshore and then travel around to places like Southeast Asia bringing dirt with them.
arrival in cambodia during covid pandemic
I've seen hundreds (thousands?) of moronic posts in my life, but this has to take the cake. Yes, "Gavinmac" there certainly is a lot of dirt in Australia.....gavinmac wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 8:30 am

Why is it that people who post the most (21,000+???) have the dumbest things to say. I assume getting themselves heard makes them feel good, hence promoting his "lame Twitter feed"

This guy came though hotel quarantine in PP. Sounds like he ordered out for food. The sound quality isn't the greatest and his accent probably isn't very clear if you aren't British.

It sounds like he enter Cambodia at least a few months ago. A prohibition on food deliveries was announced in early December.

How hard would it be to get in, for example, ehem, meds or some small food item?

To OP
you might have done it already, but in order to reach maximum number of potential visitors I would post your comments and pictures in the Cambodian visa group on FB.
Are there many other westerners with you in that shithole?

It appears dependent on the hotel. Khmer hotels that are grateful to have guests seem to allow visitors to order some food, OK Boutique is one of them (or at least was). However, a Chinese-owned dump/motel like the one guest is reporting seems to be very strict keeping every penny for themselves. Bring plenty of snacks mate, energy bars, etc.. you could very easily end up being served 711 style Chinese dumplings.

Doing so would cause you to violate the law and be on CCTV doing so (not leaving your room under any conditions) there is also police officers outside the hotels now. Don't count on being able to show off your presidents.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 3:39 pm
I hear if you slip the guard a sneaky picture of Andrew Jackson then he'll be rather amenable.
They bloody love pictures of dead presidents.

No. But I expect a visitor to the hotel could prevail upon someone to have something small delivered to the room.bongme wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 3:56 pmDoing so would cause you to violate the law and be on CCTV doing so (not leaving your room under and conditions) there is also police officers outside the hotels now. There’s no visitors to quarantine hotels. Deliveries were stopped in December.
What do you mean? It clearly is a 5-Star hotel, according to the website. This must be a Chinese rating system. 5 Being the biggest shithole possible. i love the hourly rates posted outside, i assume, this place has been "Selected" by the government for some reason......why would they care what anyone on fb says?
