Fast forward to June 2023 and a press release of the same NGO in the Phnom Penh Post and a bit of background of the current Country Director:

an organisation with that "record" cannot be "bad" , can it ?
Of course this is a WV "Press Release" for immediate publication, nothing else. Critics however may want to know more about the financing of such monumental programs and achievements and it's true "administrative costs" of WV Cambodia.
People familiar with the sector would also question why someone who went through "the London School of Economics" which also trained Taiwan's PM Tsai Ing-wen and Germany's Ukraine=Nazi supporting Green Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and according to the Report from the Solomon Islands where he was a Country Director for WV in 2014 even worked for the World Bank and AusAid among others would be a Country Director for WV in Cambodia. His salary must be astronomical given his background ?
Fact is however that ordinary citizens seldom ask about Backgrounds and "true motive's" of this kind of Leaders. For most this press release is proof that this NGO is good ! No questions asked.
