Honda Degree 250
Honda Degree 250
Rented one of these from Lucky Lucky in PP and a different one from a place in BB. Really sweet little bike, nice and light so it's very nippy and great for all the muddy potholed roads in the wet season. Is it easy to get these repaired in Cambo, new parts readily available etc? Also does $900 for a 1993 model sound reasonable? Cheers

If it runs well, has reg, and you are not going to buy it from Lucky than it's a good deal.
Very reliable engine, same as the honda nx250. Both almost identical to the AX-1 except for the cams and wheels.
If you have your garage stick in AX-1 cams you get 29hp instead of 27. Valves need adjusting at 20k, replacement is cheap. Camchain should be changed, with the tensioner
Unless you hit deep water a lot oil change is 5000k.

Where exactly is lucky kucky, I hear this is the place to get anything bike or licence related? Sorry not familiar with PP, live in Sinville.
Going south on Monivong on the right.
They should have the exact street number in the Yellow Pages.

It's just a few shops south of Tep Phan (st.184), which is the turn off Monivong for O'Russei market. It's the place to get your visa and good for other documents too.Juan King wrote:Where exactly is lucky kucky, I hear this is the place to get anything bike or licence related? I've never had any problem with them, I think it's just not a good place to buy a bike from as the things have been rented for years and are probably worn out.out of curiosity, whats wrong lucky lucky ?

I've bought from them and got some rock solid stuff (then again it was a Wave, not a 250cc dirtbike).
The bike I rented from Lucky was great, although as has already been said you could tell it was worn down from frequent use. I guess people take a little less care of a bike that they're only using for a day or two. Managed to get the price down to $700 for my degree in BB, absolutely love it
