Is live music killing Sharkies?
Was this in my homeland, I'd report your libelous comment to my attorney for consideration to sue your ass, however around here I will ignore it, together with all the self indulged over inflated rock'n roll 'heroes' hanging around acting like they are the shit reincarnation of Billy Idol or worse, but in reality much less useful to run a good hangout, than a decent collection of mp3's ,chicks and drafts.
I randomly went Saturday before last.
It was busy. Regular drink specials. I remember seeing a few scary prostitutes huddled in the corner. I heard them yelp "handsum man.." on my way in/out of the toilet. Live bands. Bonez was even kind enough to bring a moto helmet so I could live and tell about be roundhouse kicked in the face a few times.

What has happened to Martinis? Havent heard it mentioned for a awhile. Went there once months ago it was full of Russians.Must have gone upmarket, not one western expat in sight.
Maybe they changed the music too.

Do people even go to Sharkies anymore? Last time I went (a few months ago, been there once in the past 2 years) the crowd was comprised of 65% western females (of which 57% were expats, the remainder tourists) and 35% middle-aged musicians. No more grizzled old prowlers which made the place an interesting people-watching venue. Oh, and onion rings are no longer on the menu so I've got no reason to go there anymore. Forgot to check if they still had the fish tacos though... Hmmmmm. Anyone?

That is right a very popular name. They said their Cambod was a tall, handsome gentleman and um well equipped. Obviously mistaken identity. What confirmed it was when, they said their Cambod left a big tip. Knew then immediately it couldnt be our Cambod.

I had the fish tacos just a couple of weeks ago so I am sure they are still available today

last time I went here some 60 year old rockers played cover songs and a few weirdos danced in front of them and then after their set the singer kept yelling "WOODSTOCK LIVES" over and over
I don't think I'll go back

Stick to Justin Bieber, K-Pop and Pontoon, wanker. As for the other dork, if your idea of social company is Pattaya trash and other assorted braindead sexpats, Walkabout and Martini are still on offer.
Sharky has moved in the right direction and if it wasn't commercially viable, they would have gone back to basics.
