do they exist and are they reliable?
Background: I am in SE Asia for a few meetings and due to circumstances beyond my control (a thai fucktard being an asshat) I have to get back to BKK between PP and SR...
I dont want to drag my luggage back and forth and would rather send it on to the hotel in SR from PP and just take a carry-on for my extra 1 night in BKK, while the suitecase wont be full of Armani, Gucci etc etc, I would prefer not to loose it and ideally arrive in SR to find it intact and unopened.. I did try to get a flight: PNH > DMK > REP and leave the luggage in the left luggage room at DMK but cant find a flight to REP from DMK.. the next best option is PNH > BKK > REP but the price makes it unattractive.
any thoughts?

Find a cab already going there, give them some money to shove your stuff in the trunk and leave it with the hotel/guesthouse/a friend in the area who will pick it up. Put a decent lock on it just to be safe.

Capitol bus company have taken many a parcel back and forth and have been very reliable. There is also Cambodia Express, in Siem Reap it's office is opposite May Bank, not sure about PP.

Cheers OD and Tara!
thats pretty much what I expected, I have used a taxi to send a backpack from PP to SR in the past, but when it arrived, it was packed in a totally different way (although nothing was missing).. To be fair, it could have been opened by the hotel staff in SR, but the prime suspect would be the taxi driver for me, the hotel staff know me and I am a repeat customer.
I think that I will enquire about the bus route, and get a friend to meet it on arrival.
cheers very muchly.

Fat people are harder to kidnap..
Capitol are great, you just give them a name and phone number and they will call you when they arrive.

Just an open offer here if you decide to use the bus route.
Like others have said, I also vote for Capitol bus. If you do so have them carefully write down all the details of your sent luggage as thoroughly as as possible, they will also ask for the approximate cost of the luggage you will probably pay a slight higher fee but I am guessing no more than 10 bucks if the cost is high. I can pick it up at the bus station and have it store in my crib until your arrival and deliver it to your hotel. A box of Cambodian beer or cash equivalent will be sufficient. PM and I will send you my mobile number if interested.
