Another trafficking fraud
Thanks for the support, anyone wanting to help me out (yes I need all the help I can get). Please pm your name and email or phone number and how you can help (flyer drops into pubs/guesthouses, share info on facebook, contacts etc...) I'd be so grateful.
There is always something left to love. And if you ain't learned that, you ain't learned nothing: Lorraine Hansberry
Somaly Mam foundation replied to the allegations in this mornings daily- a typical mealy mouthed response.
I have mailed them accordingly.
I have mailed them accordingly.
NGOs are doing this shit since the very first day they set foot in cambodia.
Lies and fabrications are their bread and butter, along with stafed photos of fake orphans and the whole scam about adoptions and distance adoptions.
If only their gullible donors could come here and see what's going on ... !

If you plan to screw these NGOs your best bet is to contact the many web sites that do rankings about US charities, like Charity Navigator and many others.

Franz, I'm not sure, but maybe the donors don't care, they're simply write it off as a tax-refund, and given the choice, many of them would only encourage more scams to get more cash back...what do you think?Franz wrote:NGOs are doing this shit since the very first day they set foot in cambodia.

ירי ילדים והפצצת אזרחים דורש אומץ, כמו גם הטרדה מינית של עובדי ההוראה.
I think i've more respect for drug dealers, hookers, and any sort of lowlife scum than for NGOs.vladimir wrote:Franz, I'm not sure, but maybe the donors don't care, they're simply write it off as a tax-refund, and given the choice, many of them would only encourage more scams to get more cash back...what do you think?Franz wrote:NGOs are doing this shit since the very first day they set foot in cambodia.

If i was in power, NGOs would be banned tomorrow morning, just as they did in the past with many NGOs in china and russia.
It's not written in stone that there must be NGOs in cambodia, they're tolerated just because it's a multi-billion business but they're the first reason for why cambodia has still such a bad reputation overseas, not to mention i've seen more beggars and homeless people in the USA than here in PP.
Their letter in the CD claims that they are obliged to believe the stories told to them by the girls who come to them for help. They put all the blame on the girl for inventing the knife attack story. What a crock of shit! According to the family, AFESIP offered to care for her after the operation. More likely they spotted an opportunity to invent a shock horror story.
Strange to find myself agreeing for once with Ken and Franz.

That sounds like a really lame excuse. I've read this "stabbed in the eye by a bitch-ass pimp then forced to service customers immediately" story for years in endless publications. It's completely unfeasible that a poor girl from the countryside who had just endured surgery would ever even be capable of inventing a story like that, and it's also completely ridiculous to believe that punters in a brothel would want to have sex with a girl who is bleeding out of their eyeball. Sorry for being so blunt, but it just doesn't add up. We've already learned that Somaly Mam's story about her daughter being kidnapped and raped was a complete lie, her daughter actually just went out all night with her boyfriend. Mam's husband eventually decided to tell the truth about that. How much more of her story is just lies? There's plenty of injustice in the world that needs focusing on, lying just to sensationalize things and get more funding sucks.Gilmore wrote:Their letter in the CD claims that they are obliged to believe the stories told to them by the girls who come to them for help. Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree ... ploitationIn fact, so-called "sex-trafficking" constitutes only a small percentage of all forced labor, as estimated by the International Labor Organization. In their 2012 report, the ILO categorizes "forced sexual exploitation" as distinct from other kinds of forced labor, which, in some ways, is helpful as not all forced labor involves sex, and in other ways, adds more confusion to the issue (because what distinguishes "sex-trafficking" from sexual abuse is its occurrence within a workplace or work relationship). Still, of the nearly 21 million people the ILO estimates are forced laborers, 4.5 million are estimated to be what the ILO calls "victims of forced sexual exploitation" – that is, over three-quarters of the people around the globe estimated to be in forced labor are not involved in "forced sexual exploitation". By contrast, the ILO estimates that 2.2 million people worldwide are forced laborers in prisons or in the military – people whose stories we are quite unlikely to find on a highway billboard.
I remember reading an ILO report of a group of 15 or 20 Khmer boys and girls aged about 11 to 17 who were forcibly taken to Thailand for menial tasks in prison like cells, but it received absolutely no coverage because they weren't raped by an old barang. Then some of them got abducted again because no one cared. IIRC they received no pay but bad food and were badly beaten.
Americans and Brits seem to get their jollies hearing about sexually abused kids, as you see in the Savile case, without actually caring in the slightest about actual child welfare. Sex sells, but child sex gets donations.
I've got the same impression so far.hedonismbot wrote:Sex sells, but child sex gets donations.
These multinational NGOs know very well the score and they're leaders in the multibillion aid industry, they're earning such a shitload of money they can easily bribe governments and dictate their rules ... now they start with laws against child-sex, tomorrow they will ask for smoking bans, then they will proceed ranting on fat foods, soft drinks, free-speech, sexual freedom, feminism, they're not gonna stop until cambodia will be as rich and modern as Singapore and fully americanized, and then again they will make money crying out with the next heartquake, flood, typhoon, or any other natural disaster involving children and poors in the countryside.
They must be angry at the fact prostitution in cambodia is going down and the living standards are going up, i guess they're already waiting in line for the day Burma will allow them setting up in Rangoon and start all over again, after all cambodia is so '90s and it's been squeezed long enough.
You see, these guys are untouchable, they've too much money power and influence, western newspapers are afraid to write against the NGOs especially if they're sponsored by them, there are some bloggers and ex volunteers speaking out on blogs and forum but this is a drop in the ocean, and if you really become a problem for them they will call their lawyers and make sure you get out pennyless and with your reputation destroyed.
In UK you can openly ask for a ban of christmas or jesus in schools or public places but if you dare pointing the finger at the top NGOs you can end up in jail.
Now again, if just these gullible donors could know what's going on .... but instead what i've read so far is gullible donors admitting their mistakes and asking suggestion about other good NGOs ... see there's no cure for this kind of people ... they believe in the concept of the single bad apple but they can't accept the reality of the whole rotten aid industry on a worldwide scale.

Um. Sure you do...Franz wrote:I've got the same impression so farhedonismbot wrote:Sex sells, but child sex gets donations.

This guy on RT says it right. Rather than providing clean drinking water or other programs, guy says aid agencies haven't really left the 19th century mindset of controlling how brown people have sex. People in 1st World countries really just want to read about sex, so much that it hurts aid to stop the causes of poverty.
Yes, and guess what ... you must watch the RUSSIAN Today TV (RT) to see any criticism on western NGOs, nobody else would dare, but the russians don't give a shit and they're happy to smear more shit in the face of NGOs for fun and profit.hedonismbot wrote:Um. For NGOs, poverty will make them RICH, but then tell you to not give money to street kids and beggars ... yeah they want you to give money only to their own NGO ... these guys should be hanged and thrown in the Mekong.
But this is just the tip of the iceberg .. i would really like to see a documentary on the worldwide scam on distance adoptions .. and how can people back home be so dumb to even believe a single word of these NGOs.
They wouldn't give a penny to their local beggars as they know they would just get drunk and buy drugs, so why they're fueling the NGOs paying for their new SUVs and their hookers at Martini or Walkabout ?
Starving kids in cambodia ? WHERE ?? i want to see them ... sick kids, yes, but starving ? bullshits, even the last of the beggars here can get his bowl of rice at the nearest pagoda.
