Dead foreigner #1:
-Found dead on Otres Beach, Group 8, Village 6, Commune 4, Preah Sihanouk Town, at 7 in the morning of the 16th January, 2013.
-Police identified the victim as MCCULLOCH ALAN GEORGE, a 43 year old male, holdling passport #401362347, who entered Cambodia as a tourist, and who was staying at a bungalow located at one end of the Ocheteaul Beach called ហ្វីនហីល (sounds something like feen heel or fin hill), located in Group 8, Village 6, Commune 4, Preah Sihanouk Town.
-They stated that the cause of death was by drowning in the early hours of the 16th of January, 2013.

-Found dead at the Sunset Bungalow បឹងកាឡូសាន់សេត, located in Commune 3, Preah Sihanouk Town, on the night of the 15th of January, 2013.
-A police official stated that the victim was a Russian national who had entered Cambodia on a tourist visa.
-He gave a heart attack as the probable cause of death.

At this rate there'll be over 200 Barang who need an undertaker to get them home this year. Based on 2.5 million tourists that's a 1/12,500 chance of death for a tourist here. If you adjust that figure for the Asian tourists who just pop in to see the Temples (and who never seem to die) then there's an even higher chance of becoming toast for the western tourist here.

Circumstances of demise (police report): found dead on the 15th of January, 2013, in room 23 of the Sunset Garden ‘N2’ Guesthouse, Group 24, Village 3, Commune 3, Preah Sihanouk Town.
Follow up: the owner of the guesthouse and local authorities consorted together to have the body immediately dispatched to the morgue at the Sihanouk Provincial Referral Hospital (also called the Chomcar Chek Hospital). No family members, nor any one from the Russian Embassy, have come forward to claim the body so far, which is now badly decomposing មានអាការៈធំក្លិនស្អុយអាសោចសម្បើមណាស់.
