I've just had Digi installed today and can't figure out how to get the WiFi working properly. (I'm using a (DLink Dir-600 router and Windows 8) When I connect to the WiFi, a dialog box pops up that says "Dial Up Connection" and then when I press connect, another dialog box pops up with my Digi username and password. Once that connects, then I can start using the Internet.
Is there any way for me to connect without these extra dialog boxes? I already have the username and password saved in my WiFi connection, but that doesn't seem to be enough. The way it is currently set up mean I can't connect my phone to the WiFi. Obviously I have no idea what I'm doing. Help!
Setting up Digi with WiFi
I think you need to disable the dial up option. At least that sounds like what XP used to do...

I don't see an option for that. I just started with Windows 8 and it's doing my head in. In my connections list, it says it's connected to Digi as well as being connected to my WiFi network, but the WiFi says "limited." Which is, I guess, why I can't connect to the WiFi via my phone or Kindle.
I hope someone can help with this. My usefulness on this thread has expired.

When I'm just using the WiFi connection without the additional login, it brings me to a Digi page that says:
No idea how to switch it and tech support aren't answering their phone. You can't open this website using Free Access,
because it's not included in Free Websites.
Please switch to Counting MB mode to have access to this website

Loading your router's user manual now to have a look at the right settings.
The issue is your router is not connecting to the proper PPoE settings for Digi.
Go to your router's configuration utility...
click on setup, choose manual set up, the settings should be:
Dynamic PPoE
Username: [your digi username]@digi
Password: [your digi PW]
Connection mode: Always-On
save and that should do it.
if not it means something in that info is wrong. likely they gave you a different password/etc.
however... test it with like your phone or another, non windows 8, computer to be sure... it fully could ALSO be a windows 8 fuckery. i hate windows 8. MS once again shooting themselves in the foot... following one of their best operating systems they've ever made (win 7) with a giant hunk of crap.

Thank you, and thanks to Ned for helping me set it up properly. Turned out there was some nat-related problem, so the Digi guys sorted it out today and now I have amazingly fast, affordable internet.
