Don't know what you're getting all bent out of shape about. Sihanoukville doesn't hold a candle to Phnom Penh. To claim otherwise is nonsense.
Seriously... like what? We're constantly at a loss for finding much entertaining to do here. Sure you can take some classes... however those sort of require regular attendance and can't just be done for an afternoon/etc. Once you seen the few sights (temples/palace/museums if that's your thing) what's really left? Bosco started a chess club, which is fun. And a few of us get together for poker now and then. But overall there's really not much in the way of entertainment. Movie theatres, occasional good band... but really that's just more boozing, but with better music. As LL pointed out, most art is fairly lost on me (i like pretty pictures... and cool buildings, but thats about it). Still not a huge amount of options by any means... not so much to make a "hold a candle" sort of statement...

So anyway, you were saying about all of the great extra curricular activities there are to do in Sihanoukville...
What we've done on our trips there: snorkeling, scuba, sailing, kayaking, island hopping, fishing, hiking.
What we've yet to do, but plan on: dune buggies, spear fishing are pretty much the only ones i can think of... and of course more of the above.
