Out of curiosity, how do you determine if a rich person is unethical? And if you somehow partitioned the world's population into "rich" and "poor", which group do you think would have a greater percentage of unethical members?vladimir wrote:Oh well, I guess me having a go at amoral lawyers and unethical rich people/corporations is not so nutty then.

Oh, Jesus Christ we don't need another discussion of Vladimir's opinions about rich and poor people.

I'd like to know what an amoral lawyer is.
Is an amoral lawyer worse than, for example, an amoral teacher or amoral doctor?

Well, since you asked...scobienz wrote:I'd like to know what an amoral lawyer is. Is an amoral lawyer worse than, for example, an amoral teacher or amoral doctor?
An amoral lawyer or doctor is one who chose his/her calling to make money, rather than help humanity. There is no difference between amoral lawyers and teachers, except (as the amoral lawyers like to constantly remind everyone) the lawyers make more money.
I hope that clears up this murky philosophical question for you.
Next week: amoral politicians vs. moral politicians...oh, wait...

So the amorality is applied only to those who choose a profession to make money over more humane reasons?
Does the same apply to factory workers, shop assistants, hotel receptionists who choose work designed to make money rather than advance humanity?
How about where making money is directly aligned with helping humanity develop. Is that moral or amoral?

This was a joke. Stop being so serious. It's so outrageous for a 1%er to compare themselves to Jesus.
My guess is that 1% of the 1%ers have clean hands though. Look out the widow, who has all the money and how did they get it?

The Earth is degenerating these days. Bribery and corruption abound.
